WHAT A NIGHT!!! Many hearts were smiling! So ... many of you may remember (or can picture) the smile on my face all day October 24th, 2013 clear through October 24, 2013 (transplant day and my birthday - back to back). Well, I didnt think it could happen but I had that smile again last night and Scotts smile - it was even bigger. I know this may shock everyone - but I am literally at a loss for words. They say pictures speak a thousand words - and there were a thousand pictures taken and in every single one - we are all smiling. So I will let the pictures say the most but I will let you know a few of the highest points of the night (in no particular order): Seth & Brandon were able to go on the field with us, we were able to meet many of the people from School of Roch including Roch Kubatko, Scott talked to Nick Markakis, Kevin Gausman caught the ball and even signed it, friends and family were at the game to see it including his pre and post transplant coordinators and one of his surgical transplant physician assistants, Scott was given a cool chair and the most important SCOTT DIDNT BOUNCE PITCH (video on YouTube youtu.be/mtGGYyrWPEY). He wont be getting any offers but I have seen worse pitches! Did you know? If you Google Scott Fahs - 1st pitch you will see all the articles about last night and many of the pictures.
