WHAT A SHAMBLES! When I learned my race prep, back on the Isle Of Man (many years ago) it was a long hard apprenticeship, and something I have found invaluable throughout the years. Just looking a bike over, it sometimes scares me that folks can overlook so many safety factors. Sure, road bikes dont need race prep, but the two are very much hand in hand, to ensure we all stay safe. The 636 was raced, and is a track bike (no street stuff left on it) and is a prime example of so many things overlooked. Sure, some folks dont know any better, but taking an unsafe bike to the track isnt a wise thing. Its been crashed a few times -- and I wonder how many of those were from the bike not being prepped correctly? Anyway, were working through the bugs -- and, it will be back on the racetrack soon! The rear brake reservoir was just hanging on there, and the engine bay was cluttered with wires laying around. Some progress today!
