These keep track of ones performance over time and officially measure something close to ones real strength - for Africans in particular. After a string of 3 extremely competitive events in Zimabbwe, South Africa and Angola, the team of Zambian Chess Titans brought home a total of 54 elos from abroad - gaining an enormous 60.1 and shedding off only 6.5.
