WHAT ABOUT YOUR LIFE PRIORITIES – WISDOM FOR LIFE, JOB AND BUSINESS Seek you first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Follow Jesus first, and let the dead bury the dead. And love the Eternal your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment (I John 5:3). If any man comes to Christ, and hates (love less) not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yes, his own life also, he cannot be His disciple. So likewise, if any of you do not give up all that you have, you cannot be his disciple. First of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks should be made for all men. For the time has come that judgment must begin at the house of God. Therefore, we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. So follow after charity, desire spiritual gifts, depart from evil, seek peace and pursue it, trust in the Eternal and do good and you will dwell in the land, and verily you shall be fed. When entering a strong man’s house to spoil his goods, you must first bind the strong man, then you can spoil his house. When you bring your gift to the altar, if you remember that your brother has (problem) ought against you. Leave your gift at the altar, and go first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. When you notice a speck in your brother’s eye, don’t try and remove it until you first remove the log that is in your own eye. Those that love wisdom are loved of God, and those that seek wisdom early shall find it. Awake early and seek the Eternal, and if you seek Him with all your (mind) heart and soul, you will find Him. Be kindly affectionate one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another. Know this, that many that are first shall be last, and the last shall be first. When the earth brings forth fruit of herself, you see first the blade, then the ear, and after that the full corn in the ear. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. Be like Nehemiah who said, “I am doing a great work (rebuilding the wall) so I cannot come down and let the work crease.” Finally brethren, do this one thing, forget those things which are behind, reach forth to those things which are ahead, and press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (I John 5:3, Psalm 119:172, Dan. 12:2-3, Deut. 6:25, Matt. 5:17-19, Deut. 5:29, Eccl. 12:13-14).
