WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP ISRAEL? SUPPORT POLITICAL INITIATIVES As rockets from Gaza continue to threaten the lives of civilians in Israel, both the House of Representatives and the Senate will be voting -- possibly as soon as Friday on Resolutions reaffirming US support for Israel’s right to defend itself and demanding that Hamas and other terrorist groups immediately stop their attacks. The two Resolutions are: House Resolution 657, introduced by Reps. Steve Israel (D-NY) and Tom Cole (R-OK) and Senate Resolution 498, introduced by Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Robert Menendez (D-NJ), Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), and Charles Schumer (D-NY). We ask you to contact your Representative and Senators ASAP to urge them to become cosponsors and vote for these important resolutions.
