WHAT DID THEY SAY ABOUT YOUR DAUGHTER? Tell me what her weakness is? I asked her teacher today at conference. Her writing. She needs to work on painting a clearer picture with her words. The content is not always easy to follow. I smiled in agreement. I know. I read her stuff and while it is progressing it is not yet strong. Maybe my writing was the same way at twelve.. Tell me about her strength. I wondered as I inquired. I wondered why I asked her teacher to mention her weakness before I asked about success. Her strength was obvious. His answer was exactly what I expected. Her abilities in reading are phenomenal. Shes at the top of the class. Look at her test scores. While most are scoring around 50% 60% for growth potential she is at 96% We werent really sure what that meant. Sapphire cut in, Growth potential? Her teacher smiled, Im trying to tell you that your abilities in reading far exceed what is expected. You are excelling. I looked at her, and back at him, completely satisfied. If she is proficient in reading the writing will follow without fail. Shell conquer that weakness sooner than later. Her teacher agreed, Yes, you are exactly right. The writing will follow. Yes. Life is exactly right. My daughter is exactly who I hoped shed grow to be. I am enjoying this.. this time of witnessing her bloom. #grade7 #twelve
