Senator: But I... Fitz: Excuse me? Olivia: (ushering Senator Ramirez out) Very important national security matter. You understand how that is. I know how busy you are... Senator: Yes... Olivia: ...and we wouldnt want to leave you waiting. Thank you so much. (closes door in Senator Ramirezs face) Fitz: What the hell was that? Olivia: You were vetting her. Fitz: You were unspeakably rude to a United States Senator. Olivia: You were vetting her as a potential Vice President. Did you think I wouldnt find out? Fitz: Senator Ramirez can deliver votes. Olivia: I told you. You are not replacing Andrew. Fitz: Ramirez brings women, Hispanics, Christians, shes a team player, a working mother of four... shed make a great VP. Olivia: YOU ARE NOT REPLACING ANDREW! Fitz: YOU DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO! (Pause) Olivia: (slight laugh) Fitz: (sighs) I dont want to fight with you. Olivia: I dont want to fight with you either. Fitz, Im going to ask you again. What do you need? Fitz: I need for Andrew gone. Olivia: NO! Thats what you want. What do you need? Fitz! Fitz: I dont love her. I dont want her back. Im almost indifferent to her. Its the sense of betrayal... Olivia: NO! You know the answer. We both know...you know tge answer. Fitz: You want me to humilate you to make it easier for you to walk away? Im not going to say it. Olivia: Please, dont make me say it for you. If you make me say it for you...Ill never for give you. Tell me. I wanna hear it from you. What do you need? (Long pause) Fitz: I need Andrew to stop screwing my wife. Olivia: Consider it handled. (Olivia gets up to leave. Fitz grabs grabs Olivias hand. They exchange glances. Olivia pulls her hand away and walks out the door.)
