WHAT??? I am so fed up with the dumb asses at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! Green Day to be inducted? Their actually considering on inducting this band? Dont get me wrong, I like Green Day, some good tunes but not iconic in my book! Joan Jet & The Black Hearts is a must! but yet they still pass on other great iconic bands that should have been inducted a long time ago....DEEP PURPLE, IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST, SLAYER??? These bands have all made a HUGE impact on Rock. Deep Purple pretty much invented Metal, Priest & Maiden revolutionized the sound of rock and added mystical themes, virtuosity, complex timing, and changed the game for how live bands play live......and SLAYER.....just pretty much deserves to be in there for being SLAYER! They are the creators of thrash, speed and are living legends. So tell me why is Green Day being inducted???? Pop Punk? They never changed anything? I think Bad Religion or The Offspring should be inducted when it comes to 90s Pop Punk. But then again, its all based on how many copies of a record a band can sell over time....Not on how they impacted and contributed to Rock & Roll. How Lame!
