WHAT IF EVERYDAY WAS THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE? Yesterday I was sitting at a local coffeeshop and every time I heard this old guy next to me being asked “how are you doing?” He replied “it’s the best day of my life.” I was curious about what was making him say that, so I told him that I had to know who he was. He asked me how how old I was? I said 36 His explanation of time blew my mind. One day at the age of 59 he woke up and realized that there was far more past behind him than future in front of him. And tomorrow was no guarantee. If today was the best day of his life, then what was there to worry about? And by saying everyday was the best day of his life, it simply has become how he sees the world. You never know who you’ll meet in a coffeeshop and what they might teach you.
