WHAT IF IT WERE A UGANDAN PLANE THAT HAD DISAPPEARED... The events subsequent would be as follows: 1.The media wd report the news. The army wd reject the news and say that it has not yet been confirmed. 2.The NRM MPS wd call an emergency caucus meeting. The president wd then give each NRM MP UGX 5,000,000 to go and look for the lost Airplane in their constituencies. 3.The police then start arresting the siblings of the pilots and ask them to come in for questioning. 4.The president wd establish a commission of inquiry to investigate the lost airplane. The commission after submits a supplementary budget to the parliament to enable it buy cars to go up country. 5.Three weeks later the inquiry wd conclude its investigation but not release the report but simply state that there was no wrong doing. 6.Five weeks later with the plane not in sight and people blaming the government for doing nothing about the lost plane, Ofwono Opondo wd create a conspiracy alleging that may be there was no plane. 7.Frank Tumwebaze believing him proposes a bill in parliament called The lost plane bill which regards anyone who talks about the plane as unpatriotic and an economic saboteur. It wd be criminal. 8.NRM MPs then call a caucus and demand for UGX 5,000,000 to go to their constituencies to consult their people which wd be given to them. 9.Then pass the bill. Lukwago starts talking about how unfair and unconstitutional the lost aircraft act is which wd get him arrested. The Attorney General wd then write an advisory endorsing the act as constitutional. Lawyers start challenging the act in court. 10.The lost plane wd be history. That is Uganda for you!!!
