WHAT IS A HEADER? A header is the top portion of a panel that attaches to the rod hardware. There are numerous types of header styles, I am only touching on the most popular 4. The first is the pleated, (French & Goblet) to name 2 which is really nice for formal settings and is hung on a traverse rod or decorative rod with rings. The second type is the ever popular Rod Pocket, which looks best in casual setting or covered with a valance. The next type is simple in design and hangs well on a decorative pole-the Grommet Top, which is very modern and makes a great statement in a contemporary setting. The fourth type is the Tab Top Panel and is especially nice in a casual setting, (though I have seen the Ruched version of this style done in silk, with a trim that looks fabulous in a formal setting)...........Enjoy!
