WHAT IS BALANCE? Balance is the presence of all components - TopicsExpress

WHAT IS BALANCE? Balance is the presence of all components functioning at optimal performance levels to achieve a harmonious co-creative state of existence. If the function of any one component is unable to optimally produce or achieve its function this will in turn begin to create a state of disharmony. Even though other components may begin to attempt ways to alter their own function in order to compensate for the malfunction of the one to restore the idea of balance. This does not truly restore balance but simply provides the illusion of harmony. In the physical manifestation of the body states of illusory balance are present in many forms even to the point where the mind will create a dissociation with parts of the bodies functions to convince itself that balance is present. However the illusion will only mask the dysfunction for so long as other components begin to lose their optimal functional abilities in attempts to create an illusory state of balance. So in order to achieve a true co-creative state of balance, all components require attention to their specifics of form and function in order to maintain harmony. WHAT IS STILLNESS? Stillness is the presence of everything in a state of simply being. Being without judgement. Being without perceived expectations or attachments to an outcome. Simply allowing what is to be what it is. When this is achieved on a physical level it creates an openness for a natural innate intelligence to do its work in restoring the body to a homeostatic state of being. It also creates a space for reprogramming instilled unconscious beliefs and or perceptions, thus enabling the body to recreate or "update" functions that have been altered through the minds perception of its environment. For example if the mind perceives a constant threat or possible danger it creates a certain constant level of a fight or flight stress on the body. When this occurs the natural state of being within is disrupted. So if the body believes itself to be in constant danger it will react and produce constant states of perceived defensive requirements. Being in this constant state will effectively throw off the natural state of being. In stillness the body is allowed to restore itself to its original natural state of being, to reconnect with its source.
