But God demonstrates (shows) His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 (NKJV) General Overseer TB Joshua speaking: God loves sinners yet hates sin. We should hate the act but not the people. We should hate the act but not the people - that is the spiritual law. Sinners can be delivered and changed. Sinners can be reformed (renewed - made new). Since our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spirit beings that cause this act. Another Scripture read: 23 but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire,[a] hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. Jude 1:23 (NKJV) 23 Rescue those who are living in danger of hell’s fire. There are others you should treat with mercy, but be very careful that their filthy lives don’t rub off on you. (ERV) 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV) 12 Our fight is not against people on earth. We are fighting against the rulers and authorities and the powers of this world’s darkness. We are fighting against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 (ERV) TB Joshua: Anytime we wrestle against flesh and blood, strive against people we fight the wrong battle. If we fail to see that there are powers that cause people to be bowed down in bondage, we are fighting the wrong battle. That is why so many of us in Churches today are fighting the wrong battle. If you are armed for battle, you will not fight the wrong battle. Faith is of (from) mans spirit not mans body. God loves sinners yet hates sin. If an opportunity is given to a sinner, he can be reformed (renewed) and changed. You were once a sinner, later delivered. Today, look at what you are - a changed person. God loves sinners yet hates sin because sinners can be delivered and changed. You were once a sinner and have changed to a good person today. The same God who said thou shalt not kill said thou shall not hate. (To hate is to murder. Hate is murder. Hate sins, but do not hate any human.) Mr. Tedus Odeupute (former gay - now delivered and saved) gave his deliverance testimony: It all started three years ago when I started a business. I returned from a trip to Asia and in transit, I was given accommodation. In the hotel, I made male friends. We went swimming together. After the swim, I slept and had a dream where I saw myself swimming in the same pool with naked men. When I woke up, I felt something had entered me. I developed a passion for men. When I got back, I told my girlfriend to leave me. I separated from my fiancee whom I promised marriage to. I went to the internet and learn about how to meet with men. In my church, I am a translator. Late 2013, my pastor told me to go to the SCOAN (Synagogue Church Of All Nations) for deliverance. I tried to persuade him to tell me what deliverance I needed. His pastor asked him to go to Nigeria for deliverance. I said to him, No problem, I will go. During the Crossover church service, Tedus determined that he would not enter 2014 the same (He wanted to repent by 2014). He convinced his cousin to pay his way to Nigeria. He stayed in a hotel for two nights. There was a man staying with him in the hotel. He dreamed that he had a relationship with the man. He came to the SCOAN and was in the overflow canopy (he was in one of large church tents outside because the church building was already full). An old woman came to him and gave him her pass to enter the Church. That was how he entered the church that day. General Overseer, TB Joshua, said, There are two laws. Spiritual law will save those who desire. We should hate the act not the people because our weapon of warfare is not against flesh and blood but spirit beings that cause this act. Mr. Odeupute: When I came inside the church, the wise man came to my direction and I became angry. When he laid hands on me to pray, I lost control. I knew I was talking but I didnt know what I was saying. Mr. Odeupute: If I am not sent to you, millions of my hands cannot change you. When the wise man came close to me, I was shivering and became angry. He prayed for me and I lost control and started to talk but I didnt know what I was saying.. I was delivered. Since my deliverance, I have been myself! Those feeling for men are no longer there. I have real passion for ladies now. Before, I could not control the former passion. Whenever a man would come across me, I would have passion for him. That very night, we were five men swimming from different countries. In the dream I had was that we as naked men were swimming. After swimming, nothing happened. It was after the dream that it happened. In the dream, I saw myself swimming with men and we were all naked. TB Joshua: God loves sinners yet hates sin because sinners can be delivered and changed. Mr. Odeupute: After swimming in the dream, I woke up and felt that a spirit entered me. I was sweating when I woke up. I slept again and the next morning, I went to the airport. I flew back to the my country I reside. When I got to my house, I told my fiancee that I wanted to end the relationship. I then started to admire men. After my deliverance, I no longer have those negative dreams. I can pray and read the Bible. He smiled. Now, I want to settle down with a wife and have children. Now I am delivered. I no longer have affection for men, but rather for ladies. My advice to viewers. If you come across someone with the same problem, dont criticize them. TB Joshua: It is only deliverance that can get them out.
