WHAT WOULD APGA GAIN FROM ME WHEN ELECTED? ‘’Let me start by saying that my joining All Progressives Grand Alliance was not by chance. The leadership of the party will confirm that my joining the party dates back to 2011 when I first muted the idea of going for elective office. Even long before then, I always had a soft-spot for APGA. Like I usually mention, the late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu was one of my mentors and he actually encouraged me to present myself for elective office over 20 years ago. So, I couldn’t have really thought of any other party besides the one he contributed hugely to structuring the ideology. ‘’My aim is to help make APGA a formidable force that will not only help Ndi Anambra and Ndi Igbo realize her political intentions but also evolve as a party that will gain the respect of Nigerians. To achieve this very dear objective to me, I intend to… 1. Build offices in all the seven Local government areas of my Senatorial District to not only see to immediate and necessary needs of Anambra South Senatorial Zone but also oversee the needs of APGA as a great party. 2. Create a major resource base for the party in the zone, the state and beyond. 3. Create major empowerment avenue in areas of capacity training, youth engagement that are vital for the enhancement of the party. ‘’I will forever be a sound party person. Insinuations from some quarters erroneously suggest that I’m only in APGA for this election. And I ask, do I have a political party before that I will be returning to? The answer is capital NO. I am not that breed of politician that will jump from one party to the other. If elected on the platform, any APGAn should take it home that I’m in this great party for the long haul. ‘’I am in this party to share my experience and offer service for my people. And no other party in Nigeria presents a better platform for me to actualize that than that presented by APGA.
