WHAT a busy day! 8.30 drove to friends house, fed the dog, uncovered the budgies, opened curtains, drove home. Made dinner for said friend so she wouldnt have to worry when she got home after a long drive. 10.40 took dinner over to friends house and left it in the fridge ready for her. Picked Naomi up from school at 11 and drove to Titirangi for singing lessons. 12 noon picked her up again and drove back to Manukau, took Stan home, then back to the mall where we hunted all afternoon for just the right gown for Kang Gi Ppeum Naomi to wear on Sunday at her Operatic Debut at Opera Factory in Newmarket. NOTHING! 3.30 gave up on the shops in the mall and decided to try 2nd hand shops when I had an idea. Phoned Bridal Brilliance and told her the story, she kindly opened up the shop just for us, so drove over to Murphys Road Flat Bush where IT WAS WAITING! The gown leapt out and said I AM HERE! WOW Got said gown, drove home again to pick up shoes, drove over to Botany to dressmaker to get needed alterations done. 4.30 to the supermarket to get ingredients for dinner. Home, now to cook dinner. We will be posting the video of our lovely Nightingale on Sunday night or Monday. Stay tuned.
