WHATS WRONG WITH”A TRINITY? Origin of The Trinity. All Pagan - TopicsExpress

WHATS WRONG WITH”A TRINITY? Origin of The Trinity. All Pagan religions from the time of Babylon have adopted (in one form or another) a Trinity doctrine or a triad or trinity of gods. Long before the Christian era, numerous variations of the trinity existed, and they were found in a host of pagan religions and mythologies. As with so many other pre-Christian traditional customs and practices, the revival of this doctrine in the Christian era was predictable. It was essential that followers be able to see Christianity – their new religion – in familiar terms. Triad deities (the worship of a three-in-one god) first appeared in ancient Egypt about three centuries after the Great Flood of Noahs time. These Egyptian deities came to be worshiped as Osiris, Isis and Horus. After the destruction of the Tower of Babel, Nimrod and his mother-wife Semiramis, the first rulers of Babylon, fled to Egypt. There, Nimrod (known as Ninus or Athothis, among numerous other names) shared rulership with his father Cush (Menes) in the first dynasty. After Nimrods death, Semiramis claimed his son Horus to have been Nimrod reincarnated. These three – Osiris (Nimrod), Isis (Semiramis) and Horus (the son) – came to be exalted as a triad of deities. There is no evidence the Apostles of Jesus ever heard of a Trinity. The Bible does not teach the doctrine of the Trinity. Neither the word Trinity itself, nor such language as one in three, three in one, one essence or substance or three persons, is biblical language. The language of the doctrine is the language of the ancient Church, taken not from the Bible but from classical Greek philosophy. Long before the founding of Christianity the idea of a Triune gods (Trinity gods) or a god-in-three persons ( Trinity) was a common belief in ancient religions. Although many of these religions had many minor deities, they distinctly acknowledged that there was one supreme God who consisted of three persons or essences. The Babylonians used an equilateral triangle to represent this three-in-one god. The Greek triad was composed of Zeus, Athena and Apollo. These three were said by the pagans to agree in one. One of the largest pagan temples built by the Romans was constructed at Ballbek (situated in present day Lebanon) to their Trinity of Jupiter, Mercury and Venus. In Babylon the planet Venus was revered as special and was worshipped as a Trinity consisting of Venus, the moon and the sun. This triad became the Babylonian holy Trinity in the fourteenth century before Christ. Although other religions for thousands of years before Christ was born worshipped a Triune god, the Trinity was not a part of Christian dogma and formal documents of the first three centuries after Christ. That there was no formal, established doctrine of the Trinity until the fourth century is a fully documented historical fact. Clearly, historians of church dogma and systematic theologians agree that the idea of a Christian Trinity was not a part of the first century church. The twelve apostles never subscribed to it or received revelation about it. So how then did a Trinitarian doctrine come about? It gradually evolved and gained momentum in late first, second and third centuries as pagans, who had converted to Catholic Christianity, brought to Christianity some of their pagan beliefs and practices. The modern belief in the trinity originated in the 4th century at the Council of Nicaea in approximately 325 C.E. King Constantine, the Roman Emperor and an adherent to paganism, presided over the Council. Its main purpose was to unite the Roman Empire by achieving agreement on Christian doctrine. This would promote a universal consolidation within the church. As the council proceeded, there were two distinct sides, which the Archdeacon Athanasius of Alexandria, Egypt upheld regarding the trinity. Arius fought for the opposition; but after long weeks of debate, the admitted pagan, Pontifex Maximus Constantine, ruled in favor of the Trinitarian teaching of Athanasius, the Egyptian. Egypt, one of the oldest civilizations in the world, had long before adopted the pagan belief of the trinity. One of the most famous Egyptian trinities was that of Horus, Isis, and Seb (HIS), a trinity that consisted of father, mother, and son, and a concept that also traces back to Babylonian ancestry. History teaches that much later, after instituting a mandatory belief in the trinity, Constantine tried to be more tender and merciful with the decision, but it was too late. The Nicene Creed (also known as the Athenasian Creed) had taken hold. All who did not believe in the trinity doctrine were persecuted and killed. Every available instrument of torture was used on the nonbeliever. The Nicene Creed has since been amended, but it is still read today in many of the Protestant and Catholic churches. Those churches that associate themselves with the World Council of Churches (WCC) now require belief in the pagan man-made Trinity doctrine. MT:7:13-14: ENTER YE IN AT THE STRAIT GATE: FOR WIDE IS THE GATE, AND BROAD IS THE WAY, THAT LEADETH TO DESTRUCTION, AND MANY THERE BE WHICH GO IN THEREAT: BECAUSE STRAIT IS THE GATE, AND NARROW IS THE WAY, WHICH LEADETH UNTO LIF, AND FEW THERE BE THAT FIND IT. IT IS OUR PRAYER THAT EVERYONE ENDEVOUR TO EXAMINE THE SCRIPTURES ON THE ONENESS APOSTOLIC FAITH, AND WALK IN THIS GREAT TRUTH. THE WORD OF GOD ADMONISHES ALL BELIEVERS TO RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD. THEREFORE, LET NO MANS INTERPRETATION STEER YOU ONTO A WRONG COURSE OF UNDERSTANDING. STUDY THE ENTIRE WORD OF GOD FOR YOURSELF. SEE IF GOD EVER TOLD ANYONE THERE WAS THREE OF THEM UP THERE, OR THAT HE WAS ONE AND THERE WERE TWO MORE. GOD HAS ALLOWED US TO HAVE THE BIBLE, NOW IT IS UP TO US TO BELIEVE WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT HIMSELF. GOD TELLS US HE IS ALONE AND THERE IS NONE OTHER. WHOM WILL YOU BELIEVE? IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THE BIBLE READ IT. SO THAT WE CAN, BY STUDY, PRAYER, AND FELLOWSHIP WITH THE PEOPLE OF GOD, CONFIRM IT FOR OURSELVES, LINE UPON LINE, PRECEPT UPON PRECEPT THERE IS ONE GOD. FOR THEN YOU WILL UNDERSTAND YOU ARE THE PEOPLE OF THIS ONE GOD. MY FRIENDS, THERE IS NO TRINITY OF GODS TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE IN THE WRITTEN WORD OF GOD. THE VERY WORD TRINITY IS NOT FOUND IN THE SCRIPTURES. SCRIPTURE ALWAYS INTERPRETS SCRIPTURE. IT IS GREED FOR POWER, MONEY, AND PEOPLE, THAT KEEPS THE TRINITY DOCTRINE IN MOST CHURCHES TODAY. TRUTH IS A REVELATION... WHERE IT IS NOT WELCOME, CARNALITY REIGNS. The following Catholic and Protestant historians testimonies from reputable standard authorities show that the doctrine of Trinity is man-made pagan doctrine: Because the Trinity is such an important part of later Christian doctrine, it is striking that the term does not appear in the NT. Likewise the developed concept of three coequal partners in the Godhead found in later creedal formulations cannot be clearly detected within the confines of the canon (Oxford Companion to the Bible, ed. Bruce Metzger, OUP, 1993, p. 782). The word Trinity is not found in the Bible.... It did not find a place formally in the theology of the church until the fourth century (Illustrated Bible Dictionary, Intervarsity Press, Tyndale House Publishers, 1980, part 3, p. 1). The Trinity is not directly and immediately the Word of God (New Catholic Encyclopedia, 1967, Vol. XIV, p. 304). In Scripture there is yet no single term by which the Three Divine Persons are denoted together. The word ‘Trias’ (of which the Latin ‘Trinitas’ is a translation) is first found in Theophilus of Antioch about 180 AD.... Shortly afterwards it appears in its Latin form of ‘Trinitas’ in Tertullian (The Catholic Encyclopedia, 1912, Vol. 15, p. 47). Hasty conclusions cannot be drawn from usage, for [Tertullian] does not apply the words [which were later applied to Trinitarianism] to Trinitarian theology (Michael O’Carroll, Trinitas: A Theological Encyclopedia of the Holy Trinity, 1987, p. 208). Is the Trinity in the Old Testament? There is in the Old Testament no indication of distinctions in the Godhead; it is an anachronism to find either the doctrine of the Incarnation or that of the Trinity in its pages (God, Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics, Vol. 6, p. 254). Theologians today are in agreement that the Hebrew Bible does not contain a doctrine of the Trinity (The Encyclopedia of Religion, ed. Mircea Eliade, Macmillan Publishing Company, 1987, Vol. 15, p. 54). The doctrine of the Trinity is not taught in the Old Testament (New Catholic Encyclopedia, 1967, Vol. XIV, p. 306). The Old Testament tells us nothing explicitly or by necessary implication of a Triune God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.... There is no evidence that any sacred writer even suspected the existence of a [Trinity] within the Godhead.... Even to see in the Old Testament suggestions or foreshadowings or ‘veiled signs’ of the Trinity of persons, is to go beyond the words and intent of the sacred writers (Edmund J. Fortman, The Triune God, Baker Book House, 1972, pp. xv, 8, 9). There is no break between the Old Testament and the New. The monotheistic tradition is continued. Jesus was a Jew, trained by Jewish parents in the Old Testament scriptures. His teaching was Jewish to the core; a new gospel indeed but not a new theology…And he accepted as his own belief the great text of Jewish monotheism: Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one God (L.L. Paine, A Critical History of the Evolution of Trinitarianism, Houghton Mifflin and Co., 1900, p. 4). The Old Testament can scarcely be used as authority for the existence of distinctions within the Godhead. The use of ‘us’ by the divine speaker (Gen. 1:26, 3:32, 11:7) is strange, but it is perhaps due to His consciousness of being surrounded by other beings of a loftier order than men (Isa. 6:8) (A.B. Davidson, God, Hastings Dictionary of the Bible, Vol. II, p. 205). From Philo onward, Jewish commentators have generally held that the plural [Gen. 1:26, ‘Let us make man....’] is used because God is addressing his heavenly court, i.e., the angels (cf. Isa. 6:8). [This is also the explanation given by the NIV Study Bible] From the Epistle of Barnabas and Justin Martyr, who saw the plural as a reference to Christ, Christians have traditionally seen this verse as foreshadowing the Trinity. It is now universally admitted that this was not what the plural meant to the original author (Gordon Wenham, Word Commentary on Genesis, p. 27). The mistake of Justin Martyr (2nd century) had devastating effects. By proposing that the Son of God, rather than the logos, preexisted, Justin created the problem of two divine beings (God and the Son) which led eventually to the Trinity. This novel doctrine was written into the traditional creeds in 325 and 451 AD. But this was over 300 years after the time of the New Testament. Is the Trinity in the New Testament? No Apostle would have dreamed of thinking that there are three divine Persons (Emil Brunner, Christian Doctrine of God, Dogmatics, Vol. 1, p. 226). Theologians agree that the New Testament also does not contain an explicit doctrine of the Trinity (Encyclopedia of Religion, Vol. 15, p. 54). The New Testament writers...give us no formal or formulated doctrine of the Trinity, no explicit teaching that in one God there are three equal divine persons.... Nowhere do we find any Trinitarian doctrine of three distinct subjects of divine life and activity in the same Godhead (Fortman, The Triune God, pp. xv, xvi, 16). Neither the word Trinity nor the explicit doctrine appears in the New Testament (The New Encyclopedia Britannica, 1985, Vol. 11, p. 928). As far as the New Testament is concerned one does not find in it an actual doctrine of the Trinity (Bernard Lohse, A Short History of Christian Doctrine, Philadelphia: Fortress Press, 1966, p. 38). The New Testament does not contain the developed doctrine of the Trinity (The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology, ed. Colin Brown, Zondervan, 1976, Vol. 2, p. 84). The Bible lacks the express declaration that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are of equal essence (Karl Barth, cited in the New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology, above). Jesus Christ never mentioned such a phenomenon, and nowhere in the New Testament does the word Trinity appear. The idea was only adopted by the Church three hundred years after the death of our Lord (Arthur Weigall, The Paganism in our Christianity, G.P. Putnam and Sons, 1928, p. 198). Primitive Christianity did not have an explicit doctrine of the Trinity such as was subsequently elaborated in the creeds (New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology, Vol. 2, p. 84). The early Christians, however, did not at first think of applying the TRINITY idea to their own faith. They paid their devotions to God the Father and to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and they recognized the...Holy Spirit; but there was no thought of these three being an actual Trinity, coequal and united in One (Arthur Weigall, The Paganism in Our Christianity, p. 197). At first the Christian faith was not Trinitarian…It was not so in the apostolic and sub-apostolic ages, as reflected in the New Testament and other early Christian writings (Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics, ed. James Hastings, 1922, Vol. 12, p. 461). The formulation ‘One God in three Persons’ was not solidly established, certainly not fully assimilated into Christian life and its profession of faith, prior to the end of the 4th century.... Among the Apostolic Fathers, there had been nothing even remotely approaching such a mentality or perspective (New Catholic Encyclopedia, 1967, Vol. 14, p. 299). Fourth-century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was, on the contrary a deviation from this teaching (The Encyclopedia Americana, p. 1956, p. 2941). Catholic and Protestant Trinitarian Theologians and Trinitarian church historians generally recognize that the New Testament church baptismal formula was in Jesus name-not in the Triune formula:- HISTORICAL BAPTISM: • The Encyclopedia of Religion and ethics states, with respect to New Testament baptism, The formula used was in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ or some synonymous phrase; there is no evidence for the use of the trine name: • The Interpreters Dictionary of the Bible says, The evidence of Acts 2:38; 10:4-8 (cf. 8:16; 19:5), supported by Galatians 3:27, Romans 6:3, suggests that baptism in early Christianity was administered, not in the three-fold name, but in the name of Jesus Christ or in the name of the Lord Jesus: This is the natural reading of the phrase, baptized in the name of Jesus Christ; and a person must use questionable and twisted methods of biblical interpretation to deny that the words mean what they appear to mean. According to both the Bible and history, the New Testament church invoked the name of Jesus at water baptism. Its baptismal formula was in the name of Jesus Christ or Lord Jesus; not in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. The Scriptural Record Every time the Bible records the name or formula associated with an actual baptism in the New Testament church, it was the name Jesus. All five such accounts occur in the Book of Acts, the history book of the Early Church. It records that the following people were baptized in Jesus name. • The Jews. Then Peter said unto to them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38). • The Samaritans. They were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus (Acts 8:16). • The Gentiles. And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord (Acts 10:48). (The earliest Greek manuscripts say, in the name of Jesus Christ, as do most versions today.) • The disciples of John (rebaptized). They were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus (Acts 19:5). • The Apostle Paul. Arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord (Acts 22:16). • Moreover, the Epistles contain a number of references or allusions to baptism in Jesus name. See Romans 6:3-4; I Corinthians 1:13; 6:11; Galatians 3:27; Colossians 2:12; James 2:17. The only verse of Scripture that anyone could appeal to in support of a threefold baptismal formula is Matthew 28:19, in which Jesus commanded baptism in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: The word name in this verse is singular, however, indicating that the phrase describes one supreme name by which the one God is revealed, not three names of three persons. The apostles understood Christs words as a description of His own name, for they fulfilled His command by baptizing in the name of Jesus (Acts 2:38; 8;16;10:48;19:5l; Gal 3:27;Romans 6:3-5; Acts 22:16; Col 3:17; Lk 24;47; Acts 2;38-47; 4:11-12). There is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4), and He has one supreme name today (Zechariah 14:9). Jesus is the incarnation of all the fulness of the Godhead (Colossians 2:9). # Jesus is the name of the Son (Matthew 1:21)! # Jesus is the name of Father—Jesus is the name by which the Father is revealed to us (John 5:43; 10:30; 14:9-11)! # Jesus is the name in which the Holy Spirit comes (John 14:16-18, 26). Luke 24-:4-7 is a parallel verse to Matthew 28:19, and it describes Jesus as saying that repentance and remission of sins and baptism is for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38) would be preached in his name. Jesus is the only saving name, the name in which we receive remission of sins, the highest name made known to us, and the name in which we are to say and do all things (Acts 4:12; 10:4-3; Philippians 2:9-11; Colossians 3:17). Thus the one supreme, saving name of Matthew 28:19 is Jesus. We are to fulfill the command of that verse as the Early Church did, by invoking the name of Jesus at baptism. The Historical Record Respected historical sources verify that the early Christian church did not use a threefold baptismal formula but invoked the name of Jesus in baptism well into the second and third centuries:- • Encyclopedia of Religion and Ethics (1951), II, 384, 389: The formula used was in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ or some synonymous phrase; there is no evidence for the use of the trine name. . . . The earliest form, represented in the Acts, was simple immersion . . . in water, the use of the name of the Lord, and the laying on of hands. To these were added, at various times and places which cannot be safely identified, (a) the trine name (Justin), . . • Interpreters Dictionary of the Bible (1962), I, 351: The evidence ...suggests that baptism in early Christianity was administered, not in the threefold name, but in the name of Jesus Christ or in the name of the Lord Jesus. • Otto Heick, A History of Christian Thought (1965), I, 87: At first baptism was administered in the name of Jesus, but gradually in the name of the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. • Hastingss Dictionary of the Bible (1898), I, 24-1: (One could conclude that) the original form of words was into the name of Jesus Christ or the Lord Jesus: Baptism into the name of the Trinity was a later development. • Williston Walker, A History of the Christian Church (1947), page 58: The trinitarian baptismal formula . . . was displacing the older baptism in the name of Christ. • The New Schaff-Herzog Religious Encyclopedia (1957), I, 435: The New Testament knows only baptism in the name of Jesus . . . , which still occurs even in the second and third centuries. • Canneys Encyclopedia of Religions (1970), page 53: Persons were baptized at first in the name of Jesus Christ . . . or in the name of the Lord Jesus: . . . . Afterwards, with the development of the doctrine of the Trinity, they were baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. • Encyclopedia Bibilca (1899), I 4-73: It is natural to conclude that baptism was administered in the earliest times in the name of Jesus Christ; or in the name of the Lord Jesus: . . . This view is confirmed by the fact that the earliest forms of the baptismal confession appear to have been single-not triple, as was the later creed. • The Catholic Encyclopedia, II, 263: The baptismal formula was changed from the name of Jesus Christ to the words Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by the Catholic Church in the second century. Now back to the Catholic Encyclopedia, Volume 8: Justin Martyr was one of the early Fathers of the Roman Catholic church. So this man introduced a new idea of baptism. • Let me go back to Hastings Encyclopedia of Religion, Volume 2, page 377, which concerns the teaching of Acts 2:38: Name was an ancient synonym for person. Payment was always made in the name of some person referring to ownership. • Therefore, one being baptized in Jesus Name became His personal property. That is why the scriptures said, Ye are Christs. • Now, from the New International Encyclopedia, Volume 22, page 40: The term trinity was originated by Tertullian, a Roman Catholic Church Father. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Questions that Trinitarians Cannot Honestly Answer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Trinitarians when they cannot answer the questions on Trinity. They conclude this explanation with the famous phrase: Its a great mystery of faith. It is truly a mystery. 1. How many Spirits are there? God the Father is a Spirit (John 4:24), the Lord Jesus is a Spirit (II Corinthians 3:17), and the Holy Spirit is a Spirit by definition. Yet there is one Spirit (I Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 4:4). 2. . Did Jesus Christ have two fathers? The Father is the Father of the Son (I John 1:3), yet the child born of Mary was conceived by the Holy Ghost (Matthew 1:18, 20; Luke 1:35). Which one is the true father? Some Trinitarians say that the Holy Ghost was merely the Fathers agent in conception - a process they compare to artificial insemination! 3. If Father and Son are co-equal persons, why did Jesus pray to the Father? (Matthew 11:25). Can God pray to God? 4. Similarly, how can the Son not know as much as the Father? (Matthew 24:36; Mark 13:32). 5. Similarly, how can the Son not have any power except what the Father gives Him? (John 5:19, 30; 6:38). 6. Similarly, what about other verses of Scripture indicating the inequality of the Son and the Father? (John 8:42; 14:28; I Corinthians 11:3). 7. Did God the Son die? The Bible says the Son died (Romans 5:10). If so, can God die? Can part of God die? 8. How can there be an eternal Son when the Bible speaks of the begotten Son, clearly indicating that the Son had a beginning? (John 3:16; Hebrews 1:5-6). 9. If the Son is eternal and existed at creation, who was His mother at that time? We know the Son was made of a woman (Galatians 4:4). 10. Did God the Son surrender His omnipresence while on earth? If so, how could he still be God? 11. Whom do we worship and to whom do we pray? Jesus said to worship the Father (John 4:21-24), yet Stephen prayed to Jesus (Acts 7:59-60). 12. Can there be more than three persons in the Godhead? Certainly the Old Testament does not teach three but emphasizes oneness. If the New Testament adds to the Old Testament message and teaches three persons, then what is to prevent subsequent revelations of additional persons? If we apply Trinitarian logic to interpret some verses of Scripture, we could teach a fourth person (Isaiah 48:16; Colossians 1:3; 2:2; I Thessalonians 3:11; James 1:27). Likewise, we could interpret some verses of Scripture to mean six more persons (Revelation 3:1; 5:6). 13. Are there three Spirits in a Christians heart? Father, Jesus, and the Spirit all dwell within a Christian (John 14:17, 23; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 3:14-17). Yet there is one Spirit (I Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 4:4). 14. There is only one throne in heaven (Revelation 4:2). Who sits upon it? We know Jesus does (Revelation 1:8,18, 4:8). Where do the Father and the Holy Spirit sit? 15. If Jesus is on the throne, how can He sit on the right hand of God? (Mark 16:19). Does He sit or stand on the right hand of God? (Acts 7:55). Or is He in the Fathers bosom? (John 1:18). 16. Is Jesus in the Godhead or is the Godhead in Jesus? Colossians 2:9 says the latter. 17. Given Matthew 28:19, why did the apostles consistently baptize both Jews and Gentiles using the name of Jesus, even to the extent of re-baptism? (Acts 2:38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:5; 22:16; I Corinthians 1:13). 18. Who raised Jesus from the dead? Did the Father (Ephesians 1:20), or Jesus (John 2:19-21), or the Spirit? (Romans 8:11). 19. If Son and Holy Ghost are co-equal persons in the Godhead, why is blasphemy of the Holy Ghost unforgivable but blasphemy of the Son is not? (Luke 12:10). 20. If the Holy Ghost is a co-equal member of the trinity, why does the Bible always speak of Him being sent from the Father or from Jesus? (John 14:26; 15:26). 21. Does the Father know something that the Holy Spirit does not know? If so, how can they be co-equal? Why Only the Father knows of the future? (Mark 13:32). Bible Salvation is far more important to achieve than this Pagan Man made Trinity Religion. Please read and obey Acts 2:38, study the Bible for yourself, dont trust creeds, and words of men only. Men will fail you but Christ will never fail you. Seek for the Truth, JESUS is the TRUTH, the WAY, and the LIFE. HE IS THE ONE TRUE LORD (John 14:5-9; John 8:24; Isaiah 9:6; I Timothy 3:16; Col 2:9-10). Isaiah 43:11 says: “I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no savior.” Isa 45:22 says “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.” (See also Isa 45:5-6, 18, 21). We see in 1Jn 4:14 that Jesus is THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD. Since there is only one SAVIOR ( THE ONE TRUE GOD) in the Old Testament - then this clearly proves that Jesus is the one True God - God the Father !(see also Mt 1:23, John 8:24;John 14:7-11; Jn 1:1&14, Acts 20:28, 1Cor 15:47, Heb 1:3&8, 1Tim 3:16, Rev 1:17&18). In Exodus 3:14, “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.” The Jews picked up stones to kill Jesus when He made the following claim... John 8:58, “Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.” As you just read, Jesus directly claimed to be the I AM... God THE Almighty!!! Amen and amen!!! Jesus is God Almighty, which He claimed to be in Revelation 1:8... Revelation 1:8, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Salvation is in the Name of Jesus alone (Acts 4:12, Phi 2:9-11). Not in titles and names Triune gods or Trinity three gods--- or Not even Mohammed, Buddha, Krishna, Brahma; etc!!!!!!. Eternal life is in Jesus (1Jn 5:11-12, Jn 3:16, 17:3),because Jesus is the First and the Last and besides Him there is no Other God- Isaiah 44:6-8; Rev 1:8!!! You can’t have one without the other. If you have Jesus, you have eternal life---- John 5:39; Acts 4:12!!!!!. If you don’t have Jesus, you don’t have eternal life ( John 3:5; Mark 16;16; Acts 2;38; Gal 3;27). It is crucial that we cut through the lies and deception around us, and stand for the truth of the biblical Gospel ( Mark 16:16; Acts 2;38; I Peter 3;20-21; Gal 1;8-9; Gal 3;27). Being sincere or “basically good” will not save you (Mk 16:15-16, Acts 16:30-32). Today is the day of salvation (2Cor 6:2). If you don’t abide in Jesus’ doctrine (Apostles doctrine- Acts 2:38-42) - you don’t have God (2Jn 1:9). If you don’t have Jesus, you don’t have GOD The Father (1Jn 2:22-23). You will not get to God or to heaven, except through JESUS OUR LORD ( Acts 4:12; Jn 14:6-11). If you don’t believe that Jesus is the One True God (John 8:24; Isaiah 9:6; 44:6; Rev 1:8) , then you will in your sins- John 8:24, it means you don’t believe God’s Word ( John 5:39; Acts 10:43;Gal 1:8-9). If you don’t believe God’s Word ( Rev 22:18-19), Please don’t call yourself a Christian - Christianity is based on God’s Word (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 2:38-47; Rev 22:18-19; Ephesians 4:5; Gal 1:8-9; II Timothy 3;16-17; I Timothy 3:16-17; John 5:39,45-46). True Biblical Christians today, should use the biblical baptismal formula as found in the New Testament ( In the Holy Bible). Everyone should be baptized by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins according to the Bible way ( Lk 24:47; Acts 2:38;22:16; 19:5; 10:48; Romans 6:3-5; Gal 3;27; Col 3:17; Acts 4:12; Zechariah 14:9).! MY FRIENDS, THERE IS NO TRINITY OF GODS TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE IN THE WRITTEN WORD OF GOD ( John 5:39;I Tim 3;16; Rev 22:18-19;Col 2:9-10). The testimony of history, as well as the testimony of scripture, shows us the truly idolatrous nature of the Trinity doctrine and why we must not even “touch” such an unclean thing! The doctrine of a Trinity is recognized and described by its most fervent teachers as being a mystery beyond explanation or conception. It is nothing else BUT CONFUSION PAGAN DOCTRINE- ABSOLUTE UNBIBLICAL TEACHING! John 14: 9. Have I been with you all this time, Philip .., and you still do not know Me? To have seen Me, is to have seen the Father, so, how can you say, Let us see the Father? Do you not believe in Me? (verse 7) If you know Me, you know My Father too. From this moment you know Him and have seen Him. John 8: 24 ... You will DIE in your sins, yes, if you do not believe that I AM HE - (YAHVEH) you WILL DIE IN YOUR SINS. Isa. 4I:4 ...
