WHATS YOUR CONVENTION CENTER TURN-OFF? NYCC surpassed SDCC in numbers but our numbers come with quality as well. Its funny how attending those shows, shows that are in convention centers, that I have known the personality of only one: DRAGON CON. Hard concrete convention floors, non-padded carpeting in some areas and unable to run to your hotel room are but a bit of the inconviences of convention center conventioneering. Of course their concession stand-type food is also a downer. No food courts or restaurants to retreat to either. The biggest turn-off of NYCC is the security control on cosplayers they had there. If that was at DC, we would have HALF our numbers there. Your cosplay was under ISIS control this year. Dont get me wrong, I attend one convention center convention annually here in Orlando but the flavor is nothing like the excquisite cuisine of DRAGON CON. I love MEGACON but DC has a sort of panache.
