WHAT’S HAPPENING AROUND LEVY COUNTY: Levy County emergency Management is very pro-active with the protection of our citizens. Currently we are working on a joint venture to acquire two (2) high wheeled vehicles from Suwannee Forestry Center in Lake City at a no cost acquisition in the event of a storm surge or high flooding area due to hurricanes. We would like to thank the Suwannee Forestry Center in Lake City for assisting the county with this and making no additional tax burden to the citizens. Once again, Levy County emergency Operations is pro-active in the safety of our citizens.
