WHEN GOD COMES DOWN. WHEN GOD COMES DOWN HE DOESN’T TAKE SIDES, HE TAKES OVER. WHERE HE CANNOT RULE HE OVER RULE. LORD, COME DOWN TO NIGERIA TO OVER RULE THE RULERS IN OUR NATION. ‘But the Lord came down…’ – Genesis 11:5 When God comes down everything changes. God came down in Genesis 11 and dealt with the self-centered plans of men. He tampered with their language, confused their speech & dissolved their unity. God came down again in Acts 2 similar to Genesis 11 but very different. In both instances the people spoke in new tongues but the outcome was remarkably different. In one DISUNITY in the other UNITY. In Genesis they sought to make a name for themselves but in Acts they sought to proclaim the name of Jesus. In Genesis it was all about self but in Acts it was all about God. In Genesis they wanted to build a city but in Acts they wanted God to invade the city. In Genesis they wanted to build a tower to reach the heavens but in Acts the heavens came to the earth. In Genesis they built with bricks but in Acts they were the lively stones being built into the house of God (1 Peter 2:5). In Genesis they did not want to be scattered abroad but in Acts they were scattered abroad to be witnesses of the Christ in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and unto the ends of the earth include Nigeria. Hahaha In Genesis their unity was established on uniformity but in Acts their unity was in the midst of diversity. In Genesis what bound them together was external but in Acts what bound them together was spiritual. In Genesis their imagination was shut down but in Acts their imagination was unleashed. The difference was in Genesis they sought to advance without God while in Acts they waited for God. But one thing is guaranteed when God comes down everything changes. We need God to come down like He did in Acts again. WHEN GOD COMES DOWN HE DOESN’T TAKE SIDES, HE TAKES OVER. WHERE HE CANNOT RULE HE OVER RULE.
