WHEN I LEAVE THIS SINFUL WORLD 9/22/13 When I leave this sinful world, where I’ll wake to sleep no more. I’ll be gone from earth forever and walk in peace on Heaven’s Shores. No more pain will enter, all those trials I’ve left behind. So happy I chose Heaven, only peace and joy in my mind. I’ll not know the life before this moment, God will erase all my past. With wings I’ll explore the beauty, safe home at last. All the nights spent on my knees crying out to my Lord. All those times fighting Satan, never letting go of the sword. Such joy awaits God’s people if we could only see what lies ahead. Not one day would we go without praying, so many tears would be shed. From this moment on I’ll be happy no matter what comes my way. I know that with the love of God in my heart, I’ll see Heaven some glad day. When I leave this sinful world, please don’t weep for me. Cry for all the unsaved, the Lord will hear your plea. Ask that you be counted in the number that John saw. Pray that you make it in, Make Jesus your one and all. Dream of Heaven and all its wonders, think about the streets Of Gold. Put on the new coat, never again to wear the old. Old things are passed away and behold all things are new. With each prayer you store treasures in Heaven, God waits for me and you. F. R. Parks
