WHEN IN JESUS CHRIST, YOUR WISDOM IS TESTED IN YOUR RESPONSE TO CRITICISM AND NEGATIVITY FROM PEOPLE! AS A FAMILY, TAKE CARE OF YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES!!! Instruct a wise man and he will be wiser still; teach a righteous man and he will add to his learning. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 9:9,10 NIV A wise man who knows and fears the Lord God Almighty is a humble man. His humility enables him to be open minded about learning and knows he can learn from any situation, including negative ones. So, his outlook is very different than that of the arrogant man who believes he knows everything basically and that no one can teach him anything. A big loss for the arrogant man; a great gain for the humble man. Be wise folks, be very wise!!! A wise son accepts his fathers discipline, But a scoffer does not listen to rebuke. Proverbs 13:1 NASB A wise son humbles himself and shows reverence for his father; therefore when disciplined, he doesnt take it badly. However, an arrogant son scoffs at his fathers discipline and vexes even beyond control; disrespecting his father, to his shame and loss!!! and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously 1 Peter 2:23 NASB Jesus Christ possessed all Power in Heaven and on earth! Yet, He humbly accepted all the insults, cheating, lies, etc. that led Him to the Cross for humanity. He considered His objective and destiny far more important and above any form of suffering. The Righteous Judge took it all; bore all our infirmities. He is Alive forevermore and is the Lord God Almighty. Halleluyah! Amen!!! A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness. Proverbs 15:1,2 KJV When you are given to anger, harsh words flow very easily and make all matters worse at the material times. Anger and arrogance are first cousins; and they go together. However, humility and wisdom are close friends and work together; giving out peaceable responses to even the most difficult issues and create peaceful ends. Foolishness in in the heart of the arrogant and prideful. The wisdom of God is manifested in the heart and ways of the humble!!! Or havent you read in the Law that the priests on Sabbath duty in the temple desecrate the Sabbath and yet are innocent? I tell you that something greater than the temple is here. If you had known what these words mean, I desire mercy, not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the innocent. For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath. Matthew 12:5-8 (NIVUK) The Son of Man is Greater than the Temple of course! What is abominable to man may be acceptable in the Eyes of God; the Sabbath was made for man not the man for the Sabbath! You must never condemn the innocent; this is unjust. There is a Judge waiting at the door! Refrain from sin, act justly and wisely always; and do not withhold good from whoever to whom it is due. Strive to please God always and you will be blessed and rewarded in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (6) Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, (7) Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler, (8) Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest. (9) How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep? Proverbs 6:6-9 The ants have no visible leader directing them; yet they are so efficient in managing their resources and make adequate provision for the whole population in a peaceful way. What a lesson we can learn from the way of ants if we truly want to learn! Wow! Laziness can never bear good fruit!!! (14) Now for the third time I am ready to come to you. And I will not be burdensome to you; for I do not seek yours, but you. For the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. 2 Corinthians 12:14 Parents ought to strive to make provisions for the needs of their children as opposed to expecting the children to make provision for them. God Knows how to work everything out for our good. After all, all things work for the good of them that love the Lord and are called according to His purposes! May God Help to order our steps aright in Jesus Name; so we can make the right decisions in our lives in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (8) But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 1 Timothy 5:8 Anybody that fails to make provision for his immediate family under his roof is worse than an unbeliever! This word is for the believer; not for the unbelieving at all. Some believers do not know their responsibility; which brings their faith into question and into jeopardy! The wisdom of God is made manifest in the obedient believer in Jesus Name. Amen!!!
