And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night. 3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat..... THE KEY POINT..: THE BIBLE SAYS IN VERSE 3 AND HE PRESSED UPON THEM GREATLY AND TURNED IN UNTO HIM....... DONT FORGET THAT IN VERSE 2, THE ANGELS SAID NO BUT IN VERSE 3, THEY SAID YES, BECAUSE LOT KEPT ON PERSUADING THEM STRONGLY 2 STAY. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there. JACOB DID NOT ALLOW HIM (ANGEL) TO GO BECAUSE HE NEEDED A CHANGE OF STORY. HE WRESTLED WITH HIM TILL THE POINT OF DEATH, THE BIBLE SAYS THE ANGEL TOUCHED THE HOLLOW OF JACOB’S THIGH AND IT WAS OUT OF JOINT BUT REFUSED TO LET HIM GO. IT GOT 2 A POINT THAT THE ANGEL HIMSELF WAS PLEADING WITH JACOB TO LET HIM GO BUT HE REFUSED AGAIN. THE ANGEL WAS FORCED TO BLESS HIM IN VERSE 27 & 28. THAT SINGLE ENCOUNTER CHANGED THE LIFE OF JACOB FOREVER. FRIENDS, WHENEVER YOU PRAY, PRESS HARD COS GOD’S ONE ENCOUNTER CANNOT BE COMPARED WITH ANYTHING. PRAY A PRAYER THAT MUST BE ANSWERED. DONT PRAY JOKINGLY OR CARELESSLY. YOUR DESTINY IS SO PRECIOUS TO JOKE WITH. PRAY WITH ALL YOUR BREATH AND VIGOR. IN 1 SAMUEL 1 VS 12-15, THE BIBLE SAYS. 12 And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth. 13 Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. 14 And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee. 15 And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. HANAH WAS PRAYING HARD THAT THE PROPHET THOUGHT SHE WAS DRUNK. CRYING WILL NEVER CHANGE YOUR POSITION OR STATE BUT VIOLENT PRAYERS. YOUR ENEMIES WILL KEEP TORTURING YOU IF YOU REFUSE TO PRAY A PRAYER THAT MUST BE ANSWERED. PRAY VIOLENTLY.
