None for her the tattered clothing of the insane, nor the symptomatic disheveled hair or wobbly movement. She carried herself with the gait of a princess, a title she flaunts. Then she opened her and the spouting odiousness betrayed it all! Like farts from a bowel filled with fermenting beans, she oozed such odious redolence that prompted the man Comas Maduka to cry in defense we are not doing monkey business here! He was immediately asked to recant and never repeat such blasphemy in the holy temple again. He complied. But from his demeanor, if he were not constrained by regulations, he would have vented even more blasphemous rants. The princess after excusing her delayed descent from The Mount to honour the summon of mere mortals, cried thus, NCAA acted within the ambit of law. Nothing in the stated documents mentioned my name. I did not request for any vehicles. All I did was to approve the purchase, subject to the agency doing the needful(following the law). NCAA followed due process as required by law. But sure these people are insane. When they open their mouths, you know they are insane. They have supporters. Yes, mad people always have those lurking on the fringe of madness drumming and singing to cheer the already confirmed insane into greater heights of insanity. Its also true that the family of a man rumoured to be afflicted with insanity first resort to denial, followed by calling folks rumour mongers and gossipers, and in extreme cases even physical fight in defense of their son or daughter. But madness being a sickness of the gods betrays itself (on its own) in some memorable ways. So one sunny afternoon, the one rumoured to be troubled dances naked at the market square on a full market day!!!! The relatives by their stupid denial become complicit in complicating their wards ailment. Madness is hereditary in some cases, so who knows if they themselves are not only enjoying their own lucid moments?
