WHEN WILL IT STOP When will it stop... I witnessed hundreds of young friends coming together to mourn one of their own, but yet I wonder if theyve really taken in the fact that he will never be coming home. When will it stop... they should never have to carry their friends coffin on their shoulders, that were meant for eachother to lean on when times got hard. But yet those shoulders burden a coffin of sorrow and a flower wiped out before a seed got to fulfill its potential and grow. When will it stop...that the young stop killing their own, when will they realise that they are killing more than one bird with a stone. A life lost, but a lifetime for a family to grieve, we dont want no more tears rolling needlessly down our collar sleeves. When will it stop... we dont need another drop, no blood shed, no tears, no fears. We dont need no more of our young knocking on heavens door, no more pain left wide like open sores. When will it stop... we need to nuture the youth from the young, for it is the roots that keeps a beautiful flower standing strong. We need more role models to show them the way, not the ones that they see on tv everyday. You dont have to be the wisest person on the planet to tell you that the best role models that our youth can have is the ones that start from the home. When will it stop... When will they realise that life is not for the taking but very much for the making if they only follow their dreams. We need to educate the youths that their future is bright no matter how hard it may seem. We need to educate the youth to be rich is to be educated and to have health and not just a shortcut to having a short lived life and wealth. When will it stop...we dont need another drop, no more blood shed, no more tears, no more fears!
