WHEN YOU GET CLOSE TO JESUS, DO YOU THINK ABOUT HIS KINGDOM OR YOUR PLEASURES Luke 23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. Luke 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. This is a very common and well known scripture but let me point out something here. Here we have two churches, which are also carrying their crosses together with Jesus even unto death. when we talk about the cross of calvary, lets remember that there were three crosses. The first one belonged to Jesus and this signifies our redemption. The other two are the ones that we are focusing on. The first one represents a church which only wants Jesus to prove himself by taking them out of trouble. They dont repent of their sins. they just want Jesus to take them down so that they can continue doing their things. "Take yourself down, and us". when you are taken down, will you change? this church never promises to change. The second one is the one that Jesus is looking for. He came to reconcile man to God so that they can always be with Him. I urge you to be the second thief. Admit that you sinned before God and needs Him, and to be with Him forever, He will promise you paradise. God bless You.
