WHEN will I ever learn? I had to stay later than usual at work this morning, to help shoot a little 7 second promo. Then I got bumped back even further by the crew, and I wasnt happy about it. I let my displeasure slip out more than I should have. Then on my way out, I got nabbed by our Promotions team, wanting to show me a piece they had just finished for my ride. Hustling home, thinking how late I was, and how I was never going to get my lesson written on time, I saw a small truck beside I40 with flashers on. A few hundred yards past it walked a young woman. Not wanting to frighten her, I pulled over, and gently asked if she was ok, if she needed a ride. She recognized me right away, and hopped in. She was 9 months pregnant! Her dads old truck she borrowed to haul something, had a broken gas gage, and ran out of fuel. I drove her home 3 or 4 miles down the road, and she was very grateful not to have to walk all that way. Im even more thankful...that God reminded me He ALWAYS has a plan for my day, even when it doesnt line up with what I think it should be. Simple little things can make a much bigger difference in our lives, and others...when we just allow the Lord to work in us and through us. That lesson will be written, when God is good and ready.
