WHEN will we pass laws requiring strong , inspected containment, insurance, muzzles in public, and a special license (revoked if people let their dogs get out) ....to own dogs that are capeable of ripping people to shreds? Dogs that are bred with the genetics to fight in an unstoppable way. How would we determine which dogs were capable of killing or maiming pets and people if they get loose? We could just look at the statistics over the last 10 years. Pitbulls , are only one breed out of 150 or more breeds, yet they cause something like 85% of human deaths and maulings. So start with them. Rottweilers are number two. ETC. Toy Poodles, Cavalier Spaniels, Pugs....wouldnt qualify. Dachshunds and Chihuahuas might be quicker to bite, but usually dont cause more than a bandaid needed, because theyre defending themselves and territory, not GOING IN FOR THE KILL in an unstoppable way. Its time to say ONE person killed or mauled, is too many, and stop the madness !!! As a society we are INSTRUSTED to protect children !! Why do we cave in to pitbull lovers, who say their breed is sweet and should trusted, and calls them baby sitters, when they kill multiple American children every year ??? Toy Poodles dont do that. Stop being politically correct. All dogs are not created the same. Thats why Toy Poodles and Shelties are not police dogs. Thats why nearly 100% of dog fighters, breed and use pitbulls. ONE more child killed in American by a pitbull or rottweiler is NOT OK !!! Its NOT a fair trade off to allow the owners of these dogs to keep them in an irresponsible manner, letting them live in homes and yards they can escape from. Letting weak people walk them without a leash. Letting STUPID people expose visiting children to them. Those owners of powerful, unstoppable dogs, right to let their dogs have freedom , and not to contain them well, is NOT WORTH the HORRIBLE mauling of ONE more child !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or anyone else.
