WHERE ARE YOU GOING? The direction that we take in our walk in faith often has a brearing on what happens to us, of us or with us and how we handle or behave when faced with different situations! But clearly, whatever you do, dont go DOWN! Its the wrong direction to go! You know the Parable of the Good Samaritan, right? I want you to see what happens to, or the kind of decisions that are made by the people mentioned here in relation to their direction ; Luke 10:30-33 In reply Jesus said: ‘A MAN WAS GOING DOWN from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he FELL into the hands of the robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half-dead. A priest happened to be GOING DOWN the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. SO TOO, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. BUT a Samaritan, AS HE TRAVELLED, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. Do you see what I see here or am I going crazy? All the men who went DOWN either FELL or FAILED! One FELL into the hands of the robbers while the other two, both Men of God, FAILED to do the right thing and so PASSED ON THE OTHER SIDE! Then the Samaritan, please NOTE here mtshana, it says; BUT...AS HE TRAVELLED...it doesnt say DOWN here. Infact BUT denotes a change in direction and subsequently, the way he handled the matter of the wounded! God to Isaac; Genesis 26:2 The Lord appeared to Isaac and said, ‘DO NOT GO DOWN to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live. The ONLY times you can GO DOWN mtshana, is when you are IN PRAYER, or unless the LORD has sanctioned it! He said to Jacob, when he was refusing to GO DOWN to Egypt at the invitation of his son Joseph ; Genesis 46:3-4 ‘I am God, the God of your father,’ he said. ‘Do not be afraid to GO DOWN to Egypt, FOR I WILL MAKE YOU A GREAT NATION THERE. I WILL GO down to Egypt WITH YOU, and I will surely bring you back again...’ Whats your direction in faith and in life in general mtshana? Arent you going DOWN, and in the process getting injured, or in the process leaving behind other hurting souls? Sadly, when we go DOWN, we are in denial when others they to warn us...we sink so gently without noticing until we find ourselves in some sticky mess that we cnt even come out of! Now its time we take some stock, and if need be, take a BUT our direction before we FALL or FAIL. Blessed day yall...
