WHERE IS THAT PROPHET FROM? According to the bible, the Jews were waiting for the fulfilment of THREE distinct prophecies: The coming of CHRIST, and ELIAS, and of THAT PROPHET: AND THEY ASKED HIM, AND SAID, WHY BAPTIZEST THOU THEN, IF THOU BE a) NOT THE CHRIST, b) NOR ELIAS, c) NEITHER THAT PROPHET? (John 1:25) Christ confirmed that John the Baptist is the Elias foretold: ...ELIAS TRULY SHALL FIRST COME, AND RESTORE ALL THINGS. BUT I SAY UNTO YOU, THAT ELIAS IS COME ALREADY, AND THEY KNEW HIM NOT,...THEN THE DISCIPLES UNDERSTOOD THAT HE SPAKE UNTO THEM OF JOHN THE BAPTIST. (Mat 17:11-13) Jesus is CHRIST, John the Baptist is Elias, according to the bible. Who is THAT PROPHET after the advent of Jesus and John the Baptist? In Acts, Peter reiterates the coming of THAT PROPHET: For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. (acts 3:22-23) prophecies of the Bible where THAT Great PROPHET was to appear: *the Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; and shined forth from Mount Paran and he came with 10,000 of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them. (Deut 33:2) Here, Moses is promised three manifestations of the glory of God. The first appeared on Sinai in the time of Moses. The second manifestation at Seir, where the miracles of Jesus took place. The third manifestation of divine glory was to take its rise from Paran (Arabic Faran), the name of the hills which lie between Mecca and Medina. In accont of bible, Ishmael, his sons; kedar, Teman etc (Gen 25:13-16) the ancestor of Muhammad, lived in this part: And he (Ishmael) dwelt in the wilderness of Paran. (Gen 21:21) The mention of 10,000 saints is very significant. When Mecca was conquered by the Prophet. He comes with 10,000 followers from Medina and re-enters. He gives the fiery law to the world, which reduced to ashes all other laws. Other prophecies in reference of Kedar and Teman: *God comes from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise. (Habakkuk 3:3) Again the third manifestation mentioned earlier was one who would appear from the land of Tema and Mount Paran. The earth was going to be full of his praise. It is not a mere accident, then, that the Holy Prophet of Islam was named Muhammad, which literally means, the PRAISED ONE. * The burden of Arabia. In the forest of Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye traveling companies of Dedanim. The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they provided with their bread him that fled. For they fled from the swords, from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war. For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail: And the residue of the number of archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, shall be diminished: for the Lord God of Israel hath spoken it. (Isaiah 21:13-16) They were also promised of Revelation: *Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: (Isaiah 42:11). If Ishmael inhabited the wilderness of Paran, where he gave birth to Kedar, Prophet Muhammad is the holy offspring of Ishmael through Kedar, who settled in the wilderness of Paran. He is the only Prophet through whom the Arabs received revelation at the time when the darkness had covered the earth. Through him God shone from Paran, and Mecca is the only place where the House of God is glorified and the flocks of Kedar come with acceptance on its altar. He was persecuted by his people and had to leave Mecca. He was thirsty and fled from the drawn sword and the bent bow, and within a YEAR after his flight, in battle of badr, the children of Kedar and their number of archers diminish and all the glory of Kedar fails. If the Holy Prophet, is not accepted as the fulfillment of all these prophecies then they are yet to be fulfilled.
