WHO ARE JONATHANS CLASSMATES AND FORMER STUDENTS: Beyond the secondary school result of Buhari he mentioned his classmates and two of them Justice Abdulahi and Ibrahim Commassie have come out to say they were his classmates at Kastina Provincial School. Nigeria is a country with a huge culture of patronage and association. When a man or a woman gets into high positions different groups of peole struggle to associate themselves and identify with such person from Village People to church members, to school mates, teachers etc who will take pride in the achievements of one of their own. Since Jonathan got into high offices from Governor to Vice President and President I have never read through the media that any man or woman had ever claimed Jonathan was their student in Primary or Secondary school. Except all his teachers had died. I have never seen any Professor who said he or she taught Jonathan in the University or supervised his Bsc, Masters and PhD. As voracious as I am in consuming media products such as newspapers and magazines I have never seen adverts by ALUMNI association of Uniport he claimed to have graduated from celebrating him or making him to preside over any of their events. Afterall we see how University of Benin celebrates Fashola and Unilag, UI, ABU and OAU celebrate their former students in high offices. Fashola even hosted his Primary School teacher recently. During the raging war between Obasanjo and Abiola post June 12 election their former teacher at Baptist Boys High school Abeokuta called the two of them to a meeting. If Jonathan was a lecturer how come nobody has ever made public claim that Jonathan taught him or her at River State College of Education where he was a lecturer for 10years. While I want to believe he has Phd eventhough it took him 10yrs as against the normal 3years Nigerians need to know the quality of that Phd. President Jonathan should release his Thesis for scrutiny and any academic papers he published in reputable academic journals since he is a scientist.
