WHO ARE YOU IN THE LORD? (1)SON OF GOD. Jn. 1: 12; Rom. 8: 14; Gal. 4: 5; 1Jn. 3: 1, 2; Gal. 2: 20; Eph. 3: 15. The spiritual weakness that is so common among believers today is caused by ignorance of what God says we are. Many people under-estimate or under-value themselves and they believe they cannot do anything good, anywhere, anytime. (2). MEMBER OF CHRIST. Eph.5:30; Matt.16:18. God did not intend that the Church or the Christian should be defeated. The gates of hell cannot prevail over you. We can always ‘whip’ the Devil no matter where we meet him. (3). NEW CREATURE. 2Cor. 5: 17; Gal. 6: 15; Eph. 2: 10. We didn’t make and call ourselves new creatures. He did. Be careful not to insult God by saying ‘’Oh, I’m so poor and wretched and unworthy. I’ll never amount to anything.’’ He didn’t make you that kind of new creature. You are worthy. (Rev. 3: 4). He made you a new creature who could stand in His presence as though you had never committed a sin. (2Cor. 5: 21; Pro. 28: 1b; Jam. 5: 16b). (4). BELOVED OF GOD. Jn.15:9; 17:23; 16:27; 15:13, 14; James 2:23. (5) BROTHER TO JESUS. Mt 12:49, 50. (6) TEMPLE OF GOD. 1Cor. 3: 9, 16; 6: 19- 20; Jn. 14: 20; Eph. 2: 22; Ps. 105: 14- 15. You are ‘’the temple of God’’ and no demon or spirit or man is allowed to ‘’defile the temple of God’’ or bring ‘’strange fire’’ into that temple. (Lev. 10: 1-2). No demon or man can hurt you. (Lk.10: 19; Mk.8:8. 16: 16- 18). (7). KING. Rev.1:5-6; Ecc.8:4; Mk.11:23; Rom.5:17; 8:37; 1Jn. 4: 4; 2Cor 10: 4-5; Phil. 4: 13. To reign as king means that our word is final authority. The Devil or circumstance does not have the final authority or the last say. We have it. (8). HEIR OF GOD. Rom. 8: 17-32; Did God know what He was saying when He called us these name? Of course, He means exactly what He said. These are the words of the sovereign God. (9). AMBASSADOR FOR CHRIST.2Cor. 5: 20. Note: ‘’New, we are’’. (10). PECULIAR TREASURE. Ex. 19: 5; 1Pet. 2: 9; Mal. 3: 17; Deut.32: 9. (11). EAGLES. Isa.40: 31; Pro. 1: 17; Ps. 103: 5. (12). SHEEP OF THE GREAT SHEEPHERD. Jn. 10: 11- 15; 1Sam. 17: 34- 37; Jn. 10: 4; Ps. 23: 1- 6. Any attitude or confession of a Bible Christian contrary to these is an unconscious declaration that God’s Word is false and our Heavenly father is a failure. No one dare maintain that. God is not a failure. His word is true.
