Should man remain ungrateful for all this? Better question: Is it not also part of G-d’s continuous care to help man to evolve from mere “taker” into giver by at least offering “thanks” for all he has, by eliciting from him consideration for the One that gives continuously?” At first glance it seems that Commandments and prayers directed toward G-d are for His benefit. Upon closer consideration its easy to see: these are tools which in fact help man develop and expand his Soul and his understanding of Life by acknowledging its Source with proper Reverence.
