WHO DIED TODAY... My ability to find a show I want to watch, 1932 - The FBIs Scientific Crime Lab opens, which plays a key role in the birth of crime scene investigation science, which eventually spawns all the CSI wherever shows, which I dont like, which means I cant find anything to watch on TV. Logic at its finest... A gutsy guy, we presume, 1971 - He called himself D.B. Cooper. He hijacked a plane after take off, collected $200,000 in ransom money when he allowed the passengers to offload. He then had the plane takeoff and fly at low altitude toward Mexico. At 10,000 feet over a Washington State Forest he jumped wearing a parachute and just a thin suit into sub- zero temperatures, and 100 mph winds in a thunderstorm. Not a trace of him was ever found. It is assumed that he died in the jump...but who knows. Im afraid a lot of folks who just dont know it yet, 1859 - If you know me then you know that I am a Christian who also believes in a young earth with original created kinds. You are welcome to disagree with either, and I fully believe that there are many genuine Christians who dont agree with me . But over the last 150 years, I propose that nothing has dissuaded more people from believing in the God of the Bible than the belief in uniformitarianism and macro-evolution, The Origin of Species, published in 1859 had a lot to do with that.
