The mass suicide happened after congressman Leo Ryan and his staff were murdered by Jones security force at the local airport. Ryan had came on a fact-finding mission about Jones activities. Jones committed suicide as well, but by a hand-gun. Superman, 1992 - He was killed by Doomsday saving not only Metropolis but the whole world. He somehow came back to life about a year later - go figure. Joseph Kennedy, 1969 - The father and driving force behind John, Robert and Ted. APARTHEID , 1993 - South Africa approves a new democratic constitution that claims all men to be equal regardless of color. It was a long time coming.
