WHO HOO!!! Apparently Mr. Mike McGuire has had enough! He is outside hooking the hitch part for the Fifth Wheel in the back of his truck so it will be ready to head SOUTH TO FLORIDA! I asked him if he has figured out a plan to get out of this HECK OF A LIMBO MESS we are in with the house insurance company situation? His reply, call them and lay down the law! So, I shall make a list of things that need to be done, including a real legal sounding letter to send to the claims agent with some type of time line of when things need to be done. I shall inform her of SPECIFIC PERFORMANCES involved in CONTRACT LAW, which upon entering into any insurance policy there is a signed contract between the purchaser and the provider. Things need to be done according to health codes, timely manner, and replacement if necessary equal to what was possessed before claims arose, with depreciation in mind of course. Timely manner I believe is not the case any more...6 months is more than enough...a entire new home could have been built in far less than 6 months. We are tired of sitting staring at the walls...looking at spaces where cupboards use to be...seeing piles of items which were supposed to be throw away sitting on our back deck...a room we can not use due to the mess that the freezers made when left unplugged due to smell and health issues...lack of clothing which is sometimes needed due to weather changes or the need to possess for those unforeseen situations. I possess enough legal training from classes at the University of Michigan as well as work done as a Union Representative for the MEA that I believe I can produce a scary sounding letter to the claims officer giving a rather firm yet still polite push to GET THINGS DONE otherwise we will be leaving in less than 2 weeks probably and the whole claim will SIT UNTIL NEXT SPRING and I do not believe her BOSS will find that exciting at all. Life is good and THE MCGUIRES HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!!!
