WHO IS JESUS CHRIST (For children) Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. He is the Son of God sent by the Father to be the Savior of the world. God is spirit and God became man and lived among men. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He lived ordinary life with human parents, in ordinary home, working as carpenter. But He was a righteous man. He never sinned, because He came to save sinners from their sins. All have sinned and did not live up to the expectation of God. All need a Savior to be saved. God the Father could not find anyone to be the Savior because all have sinned. So the Father sent His Son to be the Savior. His name is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ took our place and received the punishment intended for us. He suffered and was crucified and died to save us. All that one needs to be saved is to believe in Jesus Christ who became man. He came to save by dying on the cross. But on the third day He rose from the dead. And after forty days He was with His apostles, seen by many, He went up to heaven to with the Father. Soon He will come again to reign forever. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. The Father sent His Son into the world not to condemn the world but through Him the world may be saved. Jesus Christ selected 12 apostles who lived, slept with Him. They were His constant companions who saw and knew what kind of man He is. They heard His teachings, saw the many miracles that He did. He changed the water into wine, multiplied the bread and fish to feed thousands, He calmed the stormy sea and raging wave, He healed the sick, raised the dead to life, He drove the evil spirit, He made the blind to see, the paralyze to walk, He forgave sins. They saw Him transfigured shone like the sun, He died and rose from the dead, and went up to heaven swallowed in the cloud to be with His Father. Peter, James, and John three of His close disciples saw Him transfigured and heard the Father declare, This is My Son in whom I am well pleased. Believe Him. Jesus Christ said, I am the only way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Me. There is no other name whereby we may be saved but in the name of Jesus Christ. I am the only mediator between God and men. This is because Jesus Christ is the Son of God sent by the Father to save the world. And He proved this by giving His life to save the world. He is the only Savior that offered His life to save sinners. There is no one who did this! Whoever you are, whatever you believe, whoever God you worship, you can be saved by just believing in Jesus Christ and accept Him as your Savior and Lord.
