So who is the right man/woman? 1. The right ONE is Saved! The first question you need to ask and watch out for is whether the fellow is SAVED. This is not about going to a church, is he/she born again? What is his/her attitude to the things of God? How does he handle kingdom things? Is he devoted? Can you rate his/her love for Christ? If he/she is not a born again, that person is not the one and if you think he or she is the one, then that means you are already compromising the SPIRITUAL COMPATIBILITY. You need to wait. Are you optimistic you are going to convert him or change him better after marriage? Wait! The bible clearly states that women are to be submissive to our husbands BUT it is very difficult to submit to a man who is not submissive to God. He is not equipped to lead you. The man is the head and the priest of the family but if he is not yet in an intimate relationship with God, how on earth will he be able to shepherd his family? If he’s never fallen in love with Christ; he can never ever love you right. lf a lady has never fallen in love with Christ she can never ever love you right. She is the mother of the house, how will she nurture your children in the way of the Lord if she is not saved? Regardless of how much money he makes, what kind of house he lives in, what kind of car he drives, or what’s in his bank account. If he/she does not know Jesus, such a one is not The One.
