WHO IS YOUR FRIEND? Do you not know that friendship with the world - TopicsExpress

WHO IS YOUR FRIEND? Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. The Bible clearly states HE YEARNS JEALOUSLY OVER THE SPIRIT THAT HE HAS MADE TO DWELL IN US. This body of ours is the temple of the holy spirit within us who we have from God through the death and resurrection of his son Jesus Christ. It is not our own we were bought with a price so therefore we are to glorify God with our bodies. We are clearly warned about being equally yoked with unbelievers there is no partnership with righteousness and lawlessness. No fellowship with light and darkness. With Christ and the devil.the temple of God with idols. We are the temple of God. God is a jealous God. He wants to be first and foremost. As pastor Angie said last night on any relationship when that bond is created you hold on to it because you have that security that friendship that love that cannot be compared with anything. Its the same with our heavenly father. He said I AM MAKING MY DWELLING AMONG THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. THERFORE GO OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATION FROM THEM. How can we associate with the things of this world and still say we love God. The desires of the flesh the quarrels the murders the covetousness all for your own selfish gain. The greed and envying all results in d destruction we face today. God is looking for a people who will submit themselves to him. RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU. DRAW NEAR TO GOD AND HE WILL DRAW NEAR TO YOU. HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE THE LORD AND HE WILL EXALT YOU. Its time we stop and think about where we are going with our language. Stop speaking evil against one another. Whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it..for him its a sin. FOOD FOR THOUGHT!
