WHOA! In most operating rooms when a mom goes in for a C-Section, there is a drape raised up just below her chin so she cannot see what is going on. Doctors and nurses take care of everything and rarely is it an intimate setting. There have been partners involved with delivery or cord cutting, even singing to the baby as it emerges into the world, but never has a mother (ironically the one who should be most involved in a birth) been included in a Cesarian until now. WAY TO GO AUSTRALIA!
