WHY ARE PEOPLE PUT IN DANGER BY PARANOID PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO GO SHOPPING WITH A HANDGUN?...... There was a 56% rise in police officers getting killed with handguns in the U.S. Massacres are a regular occurrence in the U.S. Banning guns is not the solution....but cavalier laws regarding carrying them and who gets them is. If you live in an area so violent that you have to carry a gun while at Walmart.....it is time to move to a safer place. What kind of environment is this for kids to grow up in? Canadian gun laws are so strict they are stupid and could be loosened, while people in the U.S. carry assault rifles on their shoulders in public because they can. Canadian gun laws do save lives......but both countries need to come to sane conclusions as to open and concealed carry laws. Law abiding citizens should not be put at risk by someones right to carry a loaded gun in public. The gun she was carrying did not make anyone safer, but put countless innocent people in danger, took an innocent life and ruined the lives of all involved, including those who witnessed this stupidity. No excuse for this. Like it or not...this would not have happened in Canada.
