WHY ARE VISA APPLICATIONS REFUSED? Visa applications are refused for many reasons, which can include: ** not meeting the conditions on a previous visa ** not providing the Department of Immigration with enough information to show that you meet all visa requirements ** providing false or incorrect information in your current or a previous visa application or in an Expression of Interest. Incorrect information can include failing to declare your convictions on a previous visa application. ** not meeting Australia’s health (visa medical) or character requirements Visa application refusals can often be avoided by people taking the time to really understand the Department of Immigrations visa requirements AND if you are struggling to get to grips with the nitty gritty of the visa requirements, find yourself a GOOD migration agent and ask them to talk you through your visa options. A good migration agent will thoroughly assess your visa options and then confirm in writing whether you are eligible to apply for a particular type of visa. They will usually charge a fee for this advice because at the end of the day migration advice is legal advice .... but isnt it better to spend $500.00 - $1000.00 on solid written migration advice before paying over thousands of dollars to the Department of Immigration when you are not even sure that your application will succeed?
