WHY DID YAHSHUA PREACH THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND NOT - TopicsExpress

WHY DID YAHSHUA PREACH THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND NOT RELIGION? Check under “goye-therefore.org” and see /why-did-jesus-preach-the-kingdom-of-god-and-not-religion/ God’s general will is summarized by the coming of his Kingdom and its expansion from heaven to earth it means his authority and rulership in the life of all human beings through the salvation of their souls in YaHshua Messiyah and the impartation of the Holy Spirit into their lives. Man was created to live under Gods rulership and his authority but because of sin he put himself under another ruling kingdom called the kingdom of the devil (Lucifer) or the kingdom of darkness. This fact reveals to us why Jerusalem was shaken with the good news of the birth of the baby king YaHshua Messiyah from Nazareth. If YaHshua came as a prophet as some people think and preached only love, mercy, humility, holiness and all other kind of virtues he will never be a threat for the Sanhedrin and Pilate or erodes and the devil. YaHshua good news was “repent because the kingdom of God is at hand” this means that YaHshua came to establish a new rulership, a new government, a new kingdom which is not ruled by the devil. By this message YaHshua was announcing the beginning of a great competition between the two kingdoms. Only in this context we can understand the big anger of erodes and his government pushed by the devil and his kingdom when they heard about the birth of the baby king. YaHshua didn’t preach religion because he knows that the relationship between God and man can never be restored by good deeds while Satan is ruling human life that’s why it was necessary that he goes through the agony of the cross of Calvary to redeem human kind by transferring them from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of God that’s why we say in confidence that YaHshua is the only way to heaven and we pray in faith “may your kingdom come”. This makes clear that the most important thing in this life is not to have a religion and to attend the religious places or activities but to enter to the kingdom of God which is found on the righteousness of God and his justification by faith and not on our self righteousness and good works. This is the main difference between the Kingdom of God and religion. YaHshua didn’t only preach about the kingdom of God but he also manifested its presence by the miraculous works that he performed and when he was accused by the religious authorities he said that if he performed these miracles by the finger of God it meant that the kingdom of God had arrived… YaHshua was the way in which God the father established his rulership on earth that’s why after his death and resurrection YaHshua declared his kingship by saying to the disciples “all authority in heaven and earth was given to me” it means he was waiting to fulfill and to accomplish all the conditions for us to enter the kingdom of God and to be delivered from the devil. Many people think that if they accept Messiyah they will have to move from a religion to another which is not true because Messiyah never meant to establish a religion but a kingdom moreover people can adopt Believerity and go to church and make a lot of religious activities but this doesn’t mean that they entered to the kingdom. So what are the things that can make us enter to the kingdom of God? In order to enter God’s kingdom: – we need to repent from sin: to confess our sins and repent from them in order to enter Gods Kingdom otherwise whatever we do we will never qualify for it. – We need to believe in Messiyah, in his death in our place and also in his resurrection – We need to be born again from the spirit (the Holy Spirit) and from the water (the word of God) – We need to accept the truth like children it means with trust and faith without arguing or doubting. God wanted to establish his kingdom on earth and not only good virtues as some people may think because somebody is ruling in his place and in spite of his great power and his legal right as a creator he didn’t like to do it by force that is why he had to come to earth as a human being and get fulfill his will through Love and righteousness by taking the wage and penalty for sin which is death. By the work of the cross God didn’t restore authority and power only for himself but he also gave it back to man that’s why Believers have authority over the devil, to cast him out of people and also on nature to control it for his good. What is the Kingdom of God? The Kingdom of God is not a religion. Righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endures throughout all generations. Psalms 145:11-13 Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: Colossians 1:13 The Kingdom of God is not a religion For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Romans 14:17 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32 And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles; The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. From that time YaHshua began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 4:13-17 And YaHshua went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. Matthew 4:23 And YaHshua went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. Matthew 9:35 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 10:7 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. Luke 9:2 YaHshua said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. Luke 9:60 Joy – God’s joy is not man’s joy These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. John 15:11 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man takes from you. John 16:22 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 15:13 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:23-23 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 1 Peter 1:8 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, Jude 1:24 Peace – God’s peace is not man’s peace. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. John 16:33 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord YaHshua Messiyah: Romans 5:1 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:6 For he is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Ephesians 2:14 And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through the Messiyah. Philippians 4:7 Righteousness – God’s righteousness is not man’s righteousness. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; Matthew 6:33a True meaningful satisfying peace and joy do not come from our labor or from the possessions we may acquire, they are products only of righteousness of and through the Holy Spirit. One cannot experience God’s peace and God’s joy without satisfying God’s righteousness. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Romans 14:17 Religion vs. The Kingdom Worldwide there are more than 30,000 registered Believer denominations, yet only ONE Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God is not a religion, it is a form of government based upon the legal terms (which are not theological terms) of righteousness and justice. How did YaHshua react and respond to those who were the religious sects? (See “Righteousness, Obedience, Holiness” below.) Both John the Baptist and YaHshua scolded the Jewish religious leaders of His day declaring that their religion was keeping them and their followers out of the Kingdom of Heaven. But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. Matthew 23:13 Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered. Luke 11:52 Has religion united or divided? How many wars have originated from religious extremists? Has religion solved or created problems? The Holy Scriptures and YaHshua are not about establishing a religion, but a Kingdom. Reconsider the teachings, parables, and prayers of Messiyah. YaHshua did not come to earth to get us into heaven. YaHshua came to earth to get heaven into us, by the Promise of the Comforter, the Holy Spirit. Religions do not bring heaven to earth, only the Holy Spirit brings heaven to earth. No religion can claim it belongs to the Kingdom of God, fro “the Kingdom of God is peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” Romans 14:17 The life YaHshua lived on earth provided us with a demonstration of what Adam and Eve lost when they rebelled and chose to leave the kingdom of heaven on earth and chose instead to live without the King who created them. This rebellion against the King resulted in the King’s rejected representative, the Holy Spirit, to leave earth and return to heaven. It is the restoration of the same Holy Spirit who YaHshua came to earth, from the Kingdom of God, to pay the penalty of our rebellion with His unblemished blood instead our own blood, thus providing the reconciliation necessary for us to receive that which was lost. Religion would have you believe entering the Kingdom comes after death. YaHshua did not say Unless You change and become dead you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. He said: Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3 (See Born Again) Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands? He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honours me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. Mark 7:5-9 (See a kingdom is not a democracy below) Contemplate (What is the Kingdom of God?) And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. Matthew 24:14 Many preach that when the “gospel” is preached throughout the world, Messiyah will return. Yet, what exactly is the “gospel” that needs to be preached? Is it preaching a “gospel” about the Believer religion? Is it preaching the “gospel of the Good News of YaHshua Messiyah, or the “gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John?” What “gospel” did YaHshua preach? What exactly was the “gospel” YaHshua said would be preached “and then the end shall come?” Was it not the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven and of God? And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent. Like 4:43 Then said YaHshua to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. John 20:21 Matthew 4:17,23 – From that time YaHshua began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. …And YaHshua went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. What “gospel” did YaHshua send His followers to preach? What “gospel” did YaHshua want believers to preach? And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 10:7 …and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. Luke 10:9 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord YaHshua Messiyah, with all confidence, no man forbidding him. Acts 28:30-31 The mysteries of the kingdom of heaven He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. Matthew 13:11 When any one hears the word of the kingdom, and doesn’t understands it, then the wicked one comes, and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. Matthew 13:19 Not every one that say to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 7:21 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 See also Matthew 11 1 Corinthians 2. In the world, but not of the world (Dual citizenship) The Kingdom of God does not have members, it is made up of citizens. God created the Kingdom of Heaven (spiritual) and created earth and man (physical) to expand and share His Kingdom upon the earth. Although the kingdom concept is the same, the Kingdom of God in not like the failed kingdoms of the earth, where sinful men were kings. It is a Kingdom where YaHshua is King, in whom there is no sin, (2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 2:22). YaHshua said His Kingdom was not of the world. He never said His Kingdom was not in the world. The Kingdom of God is the government of the Kingdom of Heaven and Messiyah is its King, the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou should take them out of the world, but that thou should keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. John 17:13-16 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Art thou the King of the Jews? YaHshua answered him, Sayest thou this thing of thyself, or did others tell it thee of me? Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? YaHshua answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? YaHshua answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice. John 18:33-37 (More on this below) On earth as it is in Heaven (Man’s domain Genesis 1:26-28 ) Now after that John was put in prison, YaHshua came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:14-15 While religions consist of members, the Kingdom of Heaven consists of citizens, as it was with Rome. (See Galatians 4:1-7 concerning “the fullness of time,” where the kingdom of Rome provided the necessary analogy for man’s comprehension of Kingdom concepts.) The citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven make up the the “ekklesia” (mostly translated as “church”) meaning “called out ones.” Since the time of John the Baptist, the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presses into it. Luke 16:16 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Matthew 16:28. See Acts 2. All kingdoms exist to manage a domain, and when one is “born again” he leaves the domain of darkness and enters the domain of the Light of the World, the Kingdom of Heaven. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believes on me should not abide in darkness. John 12:46 (See also: John 1:9, 3:19, 8:12, 2 Corinthians 4:4) YaHshua said entering the Kingdom of Heaven is for the here and now, not sometime in the future. And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God comes not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:20-21 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. Romans 14:17 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:9-10 Luke 11:1-13 – And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needs. And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? Not a “religion” but a government In the Kingdom of God it is not “we the people,” it is “Thus says the Lord.” Believers may be religious, but not Kingdom wise. Believers living in western civilizations under “democracies” may find it difficult to identify with Kingdom precepts. There are no elections in the Kingdom, there is one King of Kings, Who is Lord of Lords. While the U.S. Constitution has and can be amended, there are no amendments that can be made to the Law of God, the Word of God. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Matthew 24:35 Scripture cannot be broken John 10:35 The grass withers, the flower fades: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. Isaiah 40:8 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. My soul melts for heaviness: strengthen me Lord according to your word. 2 Peter 1:20 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness; and the darkness doesn’t comprehend it. John 1:1-5 And he said unto him, Why do you call me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if you will enter into life, keep the commandments. Matthew 19:17 He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. John 14:21 If ye keep my commandments… See John 15 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Luke 6:46 Adam and Eve did not loose a religion, they lost the Kingdom of Heaven on earth (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:15), which is what Messiyah announced and restored. From that time YaHshua began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Mathew 4:17 Reconsider these Scriptures in light of the Kingdom of God Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. Mark 10:15 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:3 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:20 Then came to YaHshua scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? For God commanded, saying, Honor thy father and mother: and, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death. But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou might be profited by me; And honor not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. Matthew 15:1-6 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority? And YaHshua answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things. The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him? But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet. And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things. But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went. And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. YaHshua saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him. Matthew 21:23-32 YaHshua answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3:5-6 John 18:36 – YaHshua answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. Luke 13:18-21 A kingdom is not a democracy! For example, the laws of America, based upon the U.S. Constitution begin with “We the people…” and can and have been amended. The Law of God is The Word of God and can never change. In a democracy the people elect and cooperate with a president and their government. In a kingdom, what the king says is a decree upon those residing in the kingdom. A kingdom is not a democracy! The inhabitants of the kingdom trust the King because the King, as a Lord, is personally responsible for the well-being of everyone in His Kingdom. People desire to enter the Kingdom and are willing to obey and be subjects of the King in order to reap the benefits (care and protection) of the Kingdom. This actually places a burden on the King of the Kingdom to provide these benefits, whereby the inhabitants will respect and trust that through obedience to His Laws, they can rely on the Lord to care and protect them. (Note: Those outside the Kingdom are not citizens of the Kingdom, but aliens, and cannot be partakers of the citizen benefits of God’s divine nature.) This same kingdom principle is how God designed marriage, “a great mystery,” where the woman should be able to safely rely on the husband for her care and protection. Read carefully about this “great mystery” as Paul describes the relationship between man and wife as being analogous with Messiyah and the Church. (Many seem to stop at Ephesians 5:1 and completely miss what is expected of the man as being lord over his household, in light of what the Father expected of YaHshua as Lord of Lords over the inhabitants of the Kingdom of God. He that has ears to hear, let him hear.) Ephesians 5:21-5:33 – Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Messiyah is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Messiyah, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Messiyah also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Messiyah and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: Hebrews 12:28 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he said unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said unto me, These are the true sayings of God. Revelation 19:7-9 As Messiyah is Lord over the church and gave His life for it, loves and cherishes the church and gave Himself for it, the same is expected of the man in his relationship with his wife. 1 Corinthians 2:6-16 – Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to naught: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him. But God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Messiyah. 2 Corinthians 4:4 – In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Messiyah, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. In the world, but not of the world Ephesians 2:1-22 – And you has he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Messiyah, (by grace ye are saved;) And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in the Lord: That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through the Messiyah. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Messiyah YaHshua unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them. Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Messiyah, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Messiyah YaHshua ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Messiyah. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, YaHshua Messiyah himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. John 17:1-26 – These words spake YaHshua, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As you have given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as you have given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and YaHshua Messiyah, whom you have sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which you gave me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which you gave me out of the world: thine they were, and you gave them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which you gave me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that you did send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which you have given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that you gave me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that you should take them out of the world, but that you should keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As you have sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which you gave me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and you in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that you have sent me, and have loved them, as you have loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom you have given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which you have given me: for you loved me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world has not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that you have sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith you have loved me may be in them, and I in them. More Scripture to reconsider in light of the Kingdom of God What is the Kingdom of God that the Messiyah presented? It is one thing to see the kingdom (John 3:3), it is another to enter into the kingdom. (John 3:5) Since the time of John the Baptist the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presses into it. Luke 16:16 YaHshua did not preach miracles and wonders. He preached the Kingdom of God. Signs and wonders were just signs that followed, signs that are of the Kingdom of God. YaHshua only taught of being “born again.” He said “I Am the Door,” and “I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life,” but He preached the Kingdom of God. It is one thing to see the kingdom (John 3:3), it is another to enter into the kingdom. (John 3:5) Do you only see the Kingdom, or have you entered the Kingdom? Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches. Revelation 3:20-22 Are you only at the “door,” or have you opened the “door?” Have you opened the door and asked YaHshua in? But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: John 1:12 The kingdom of God is within you And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God comes not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:20-21 God’s plan is not for you to get into heaven, God’s plan is for Him to live in you. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you see me: because I live, you shall live also. At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Judas said unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself unto us, and not unto the world? YaHshua answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. John 14:16-23 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. John the Baptist – Matthew 3:11-12 For John truly baptized with water; but you shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. YaHshua – Acts 1:5 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. Acts 2:3 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4:13 He that has ears to hear, let him hear. The Kingdom of God represents being “joint-heirs with Messiyah” Hearken, my beloved brethren, Has not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to them that love him? James 2:5 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. John 15:14-15 A Father-Son relationship with “kingdom” rule or reign, dominion over the earth, animals, and environment, but not another man. This was the original intent. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. Genesis 1:26-28 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High (Psalms 82:6). YaHshua answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? John 10:34 However the fall of man (Genesis 2:15-3:24) was an act of treason against God’s Word and the consequences was spiritual and physical death. And as man could not redeem himself, for “we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” (Isaiah 64:6). But God has provided the “Way” through the blood of Messiyah as the atonement to restore “the Truth and the Life.” (John 14:7) They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endures throughout all generations. Psalms 145:11-13 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; Ephesians 2:18-19 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: Colossians 1:9-22 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Messiyah; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
