WHY DO YOUNG NUMISMATISTS TAKE ME FOR GRANTED I have often been - TopicsExpress

WHY DO YOUNG NUMISMATISTS TAKE ME FOR GRANTED I have often been flummoxed by quite a few collectors known to me taking me for granted. Well, here is the explanation : - In the last 6 days ( today being our new day ) well over 150 people, men and women, boys and girls, came to my office between 10 -30 to 1 pm to wish me pateti and a happy new year. Nothing wrong in that....infact who doesnt like being praised ? Fine. 8 of them including one today, halted after exchanging the new year salutations and asked me what coin or note I had to sell them real cheap. When i said nothing, half of them reminded me to keep them in mind and went their way. The other half stayed put and insisted whether i had a booklet for sale real cheap or gulf notes in decent condition but cheap and one rupee notes signed by denning...he was willing to pay 5000 rupees ofcourse. I told all 4 of them why they did not try at the recent exhibition at the world trade centre and PAT came similar replies.....the prices there were prohibitive and KNOWING you ( meaning me) we would get them cheaply. Nowhere on my face is it written that I am a , well, ...........ya ti chu. For people not catching up to the exact meaning, it is a word said by many parsi females, my wife included, when they want to abuse a person euphemistically. Just read the 3 words backwards and you will get it. Coming back to brass tacks, how can anyone expect me to sell the very best and that too CHEAPLY. But people expect...some even say...we are friends, are we not ? OFCOURSE NOT. I dont suffer fools easily and whatever gave you the idea that we were friends. Do not be under a misconception that i am your friend dont be so servile. I have no time for faggs. GET OUT. This has happened once too often for my comfort but then as my mum said ......the nuttiest collectors in mumbai make a beeline towards you. AND my mom was seldom wrong
