WHY DRIVE 8 Hours to talk to 20 people? The easy answer is… Because its freaking worth it! and thats true… But theres more. In my role as a leadership trainer serving the agriculture and food industry, training is it so much more than an opportunity to merely speak to People. I am constantly pulled by the knowing that high quality training events truly help people. You see, I know that at least some of the 20 or so people I work with tomorrow will take something home and implement it! Now, that distinction may be big or small – one never really cant predict. But, lets say that distinction helps that leaderbecome a better influence or amongst those that he or she leads in his organization... Then there are at least two exciting outcomes… Number one -this leader has friends and colleagues that now have clearer directions, better workplace relationships, are safer, and might even grow more engaged! This alone is a high-value output! But lets take it a step further… The people I have the privilege to work with right now are important providers to our national security! How is this true? Consider, that these people are all an integral part of the food chain! Would you like to have happy and engaged employees involved in every step of the food production processing,packaging, and transportation system? People who thrive in what they do? Or would you prefer somebody who simply survives the day? I want to ensure that we have a happy, healthy, safe food chain keeping us fed… And keeping a secure. So thats why I will drive eight hours for the chance to speak to 20 people… Because, the potential upside… Is absolutely worth it! #thrivetoday
