WHY HAS THE CHIEF MINISTER NOT APPOINTED A LOKAYUKTA IF HE IS NOT CORRUPT?- ARJUN MODHWADIA GPCC President Arjun Modhwadia stated that the Chief Minister is so steeped in corruption and due to this has not appointed a Lokayukta for the past 9 years. He asked that if the Chief Minister was so firm on his statement “I am not corrupt and I do not allow others too to be corrupt” then why was he running scared of appointing a Lokayukta? By changing the rules regarding the appointment he was not only endorsing the fact that he was corrupt but the Chief Minister was also endangering the laws of the land, the GPCC President said.
