WHY I STUDIED BUSINESS: Since today is a public holiday, let me tell you why a MAN WHO WANTED TO BECOME A DOCTOR OR AT LEAST A LAWYER ENDED UP IN BUSINESS! DOCTOR: While in a careers interview in p.7, they gave us a biology question and told us that whoever failed it would never become a doctor. The question was framed like this: ...........is a very important male organ that coordinates all his body parts, and this organ works properly when its STRAIGHT. Like any other clever young man, i and some friends of mine answered that its the penis. The most dull in class said its a spinal-cord and we laughed at them! Those who said its a spinal-cord are now Doctors, we who answered what we believed in are wasted materials! Thats how my dream died. LAWYER: From 1890 to 2012, Uganda had not known that melancholies and phragmatics cant make good lawyers! These introverts are good at reproducing every word given to them in written, but are poor at spoken. Whereas the govt knew that sanguines and cholerics are good debators and dramatists, it continued to insist on admitting only those who scored 20 points and above for law forgetting that they were creating a poor breed of DUMB LAWYERS in the industry. I AGAIN MISSED LAW EVEN THOUGH I HAVE I HAVE A BETTER REASONING CAPACITY COMPARED TO MAJORITY LAW PRACTITIONERS! I experienced this while at UMA, where i found a banch of professional lawyers who were incapable of delivering a 15 minute speech yet am not a lawyer, but i can speak for 3hours minus repeating any word! So, the GENERAL LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND POOR RECRUITIMENT MECHANISMS OF THE POLICY MAKERS made me miss out on my 2nd career choice, and I became an ACADEMIC ACCIDENT! Who still doubts that my ability wouldnt have put me in the bracket of Lukwago, Katuntu and Njuba? Till then, I remain yours truly, THE LION-HEARTED NSEKO HARUNA AFRICA MPEWO TEMENYA BISAGAZI.
