WHY IS THE ALMIGHTY SYLVIA BLYDEN GOING BERSERK ON THE SIERRA - TopicsExpress

WHY IS THE ALMIGHTY SYLVIA BLYDEN GOING BERSERK ON THE SIERRA LEONE MILITARY PRESS RELEASE RELATING TO AN UNPROFESSIONAL INCIDENT BETWEEN AIG MEMUNA AND WOII DURA? For the past one week or so, I have safely seat on the fence monitoring the marathon, accusations and counter accusations between those who believed that the sanctimonious AIG Memuna slapped WOII Dura and, those who are sympathising or to say the least don’t believe it actually happened. To add to their notions, the SLP through their Joint Communication Unit put out a press release debunking speculations. Yesterday, the Military through their PRO also put out their own views on the unfortunate episode. What is clear in all publications is that it is an allegation and an investigation team would be formed to look into the ugly incident. The other issue of importance is that while the Police is looking forward to a joint investigation (SLP and RSLAF), the Military on the other hand requesting an independent body that preclude both the SLP and RSLAF such as the ONS to investigate the matter. It is wise to emphasised in both press releases that this is a sensitive matter and all should exercise restraint. I would equally want to add my voice that this matter concerning the two forces working in the interest of Mama Salone should be treated by the general public especially journalists with caution. Let us allow the duo and the ONS to handle the matter. However, one thing that baffles me most is the way Sylvia is carrying on with this story on social media. She continues to play her usual antics. In all her open posts relating to this story, Sylvia always hastened to stress her neutrality and fishy respect for both forces. Nevertheless, as one continues to read her posts, you would realise biasness in support of AIG Memuna and the SLP. Again I don’t actually know when Sylvia starts to be part of Juba Barracks family. When it comes to politics, Sylvia is always proud of growing up at Brook fields, when it comes to social events she usually mentioned growing up at Gloucester and when she wants to curry public perception surrounding the ongoing incident in favour AIG Memuna, Sylvia is now saying that she grew up at Juba Barracks. What a wonderful propagandist? I want to inform Sylvia that her countless publications and barrage of insults on the military cannot be the way out of this situation. You cannot defend the undefendable AIG Memuna….Sylvia. It is difficult to waive the negative public views of an AIG that had jumped the shark. It may interest you to know that a covert investigation had already been conducted by the Police hierarchy on the incident and it was clear from findings that the AIG did slap the military officer. This is the more reason the SLP are defensively calling for joint investigation in order to amicably settle the matter, while the military wants an independent investigation to put a stop to AIG Memuna’s excesses. I heard the AIG was scolded by the police hierarchy few days ago for her misconduct. The SLP top echelon would definitely protect her in the interest of the institution in the eyes of the general public, in house she will face the Police Inspector General’s disciplinary interview. The AIG is also aware of the consequences of her action if convicted. So cease fire and stop inflaming the situation. The more you continue to publish on this issue the more it flares. Even if you have old scores to settle with the military but do not use this incident as a spring board to vent out your anger on them. Stop playing the gender card, this incident has no bearing to gender. I actually don’t know the nexus between you and AIG Memuna but one thing that is certain is that Birds of the same feather flock together. For the benefit of mama salone stop the shut and allow peace to rein. I am sure Sylvia doesn’t have much to do now that she’s out of State House. Please use your reserved bullets in fighting Ebola and stop the vicious attacks on the military. We’ve suffered enough and don’t want to see this nation embroiled into another disaster. The AIG Memuna you are fighting has deep rooted relationship and grudge with the military. This is not her first time with the Sierra Leone Army. AIG Memuna’s husband used to be a sergeant in the military. I have been made to understand that he is now a lieutenant by the name of Bangura. Cross examined your client Memuna well she would revealed the story behind their separation with Bangura. They are not officially divorced yet but separated. They are blessed with one daughter, the only biological seed she can boast of in this world. During their wedding the fellow was a sergeant whilst Memuna an ASP. He supported Memuna throughout her university. Sylvia bear in mind that you owe the President apology for making disrespectful comments on the Minister of Defence. Because of your hut temperedness for the military press release, your reaction has gone far in making demeaning statements against the President. Remember, he is just superintending that post because the substantive holder is on special assignment. I reiterate that this matter should not be treated as a gender issue but institutional one. You also owe the Sierra Leone Army as an institution apology, but let me stop from making further comment on that because I don’t know if the military was also part of the ring that orchestrated the unwelcome exit of the former SEA from State House.
