WHY IT IS STUPID TO TYPE AMEN Since the invention of Facebook we have many times seen people post pictures showing either children suffering from disease or ailments etc and sometimes stories and readers are told to type Amen for the person as if Amen will cure such a person. I strongly believe people who do this are either ignorant or do not understand what Amen means and today, I take the opportunity to explain what the word means. AMEN: The word Amen is a declaration of Affirmation or simply put so be it. Now when you post a picture and says, this boy is suffering, type an Amen to that, what are you trying to imply? He is suffering so be it. If you want a better way to help, do it well and stop telling people to type Amen. Amen will not save the person and it not a prayer. Am I not making sense folks?
