WHY MUSLIMAHS WEARING HIJAB ARE UNIQUE A man once asked a muslim cleric: why Islam restricts a handshake with women except with their parents, spouses and children or other women? and why islam wants women to be covered except for their faces and palms?. The Sheikh said: Tell me if your Queen(England) can be Handshaken by anybody. The man replied: No she is of royalty, she deserves special honour, respect and priviledge The Muslim scholar responded: That is the way Islam rates our women, they are of royalty, deserves respect and honour The scholar then ordered for two pieces of sweet. He removed the wrap from one and left the other wrapped. He then put the two on separate white clean plates and left them for an hour while his discussion continued with his guest. He later ordered that the two plates be brought and asked the questioner to pick one as a gift for him. The man picked the wrapped one. The sheikh asked why He did not pick the naked sweet? The man replied: But you have left that one open for a long time! The sheikh replied: You can now see why we want our women to be wrapped in sufficient clothings! He goes ahead: Everything that is precious is always covered sufficient enough for the owners to discover, why dont you see gold everywhere like the pebbles? why is diamond always hidden far away in the ground? see, all gem stones are somehow hidden and the less valuable ones are easily comeby by the road side. Allah has made muslim women the Golds, diamonds and gem stones of humankind.
