WHY OVERTHROWING THE BRITISH MONARCHY IS NOW LEGAL We used to think overthrowing the US gov was illegal. Only the violence is illegal. Its the same with the UK gov; and, yes, its the same with the British monarchy. Remember, I openly called for the overthrow of the US gov in Washington, DC while I occupied for 6 months April - November 2014. Sometimes I had to teach the police; sometimes they already knew it was legal. When I came to the UK, everyone knew overthrowing the government was legal. Problem is they think overthrowing the monarchy is illegal. After some pretty simple research, Ive found that for all practical purposes, its just like the gov: only the violence is illegal. Nobody has been killed for high treason since 1946. Why do I think its important to overthrow the monarchy? Power belongs to the people, not to a person. Queens and kings are a thing of the past. So is slavery and prejudice. We are all equal. With regards to the ruling rich class, money must be kept out of politics. No unselfish person would be a billionaire, and we cant have selfish people making decisions for the whole. All the police in London report to the Queen.
